Eons ago I stopped buying anything other than black slacks to to go work in (supposed to be dress shirt and all). After a while I stopped buying dress shoes when I realized no one was looking at my feet (not an exec position)--but never gave up on black socks. No idea why. Finally bought a set of black sneakers that might sorta look like dress shoes... if you're not looking at them... which I still wear with black socks.

No one asks me for clothing advice.

I got these shoes for $20 a month ago. Now $21 something but actually they are great what I call leisure shoes. No breaking in and extremely comfortable. Not for climbing ladders or things like that
But crazy comfortable. I just bought them not expecting much..
