Stoney Creek

More specifically, she lives in the Winona area of Stoney Creek. She’s about 500 feet away from Lake Ontario. Her house is nowhere near the size of her rich neighbor’s house though. That guy is right on the lake, his property is 180 feet wide down there! He actually spent $4 million on the house on the other side of him so that he can have somewhere to live when he tears down his current house and rebuilds it into a mega house with an indoor pool. It’s nice to know rich people so I can live vicariously through them

Had this earlier...rather loud...I ran- staggered to the car and when I got a mile away it doubled in strength. Getting heavy storms again tonight.

Changed brake fluid on the XSR900 today. The original brake fluid was a bit brown, but not as dirty as I thought it would be. What's in the bottle is 75% new fluid already bled from the right side caliper. Bubble in the sight window is like that because the handle bars are turned full lock to the left. With the handle bars straight, the level is above the top of the sight window, which is normal.

Think I finally cooled off. Looks like it's 80F and 60% humidity? that's now, was probably lower temp but higher humidity when I went for a bike ride. Felt a few rain drops so I think the humidity was up there--but no direct sun (cloudy today) so not as bad as it might have been.

Working through the afternoon, then Makerspace meet-up this evening. Hopefully no storms to deal with on the drive home!

Going to eat then home to study for my state inspection license test tomorrow in front of the Virginia State Police Trooper. Nervous but trying not to have a meltdown. My parents told me if I passed that I’d get a trip to my favorite Chinese place tomorrow and then a paid for MLB game for vacation. I need to pass it can’t let fear overcome me.

I’ve taken about 12 drug tests over the years.

I recall only taking two, lifetime. One involved an embarrassed female RN directly viewing men put a urine specimen in a lab cup. The other was a hair clipping from the newest growth. No one's going to game a hair sample.

Busy day off today. Worked a bit on Shtty Blue, then took the JD 325 skid steer and did some leveling in the parking area around the house.

Then my 15 year old drove me to town to do my medical for work, then get some groceries and ice cream.

Then did a quick till between the rows of the garden to weed it. I purposefully left some open rows and seeded somw more carrots. To finish things off, I hilled all the potatoes.
