I gave a private tour of Niagara Falls to 9 lovely people who were from all over the US (Vegas, California, Utah and Michigan) who were in Canada for a family reunion celebrating the 70th birthday of one of them. It was so much fun! Lots of laughs today 
Then when I got home I put a quick coat of Meguiar’s Ultimate Fast Finish on my Civic (this stuff is discontinued but I still have 6 cans of it left)

Was tempted to not work today as I'm taking next week off. Compromised: worked this morning, will work next Fri afternoon, playing catch-up on emails.
Mowed the lawn. Started gathering clothes for a family get-together (leaving tomorrow). Realizing I have only 2 pairs of shorts that I fit into. And 4 t-shirts that are not some dark color--we're headed to TN so I think it's going to be hot? Worse, I haven't bought any white socks in years and the only sneakers I have are black--I might as well wear black socks with some sandals and look my age I guess.

Mopped up some water from the wife's fish tank. About 2 gallons leaked out from some bad seal on the water filter gizmo. I got about two cups mopped up... the rest is in the carpet and flooring... just happened to notice a dripping when I was in the basement.
I'm sure that'll dry out while we are gone on vacation... and that I don't have to worry about this fish tank doing further leaking while no one is here!

I was watching the Blue Jays game up until they were down 7-0 (in only the third inning no less) so I gave up on that and took the Corvette for a half hour drive instead.
I used to have fish. I kinda forgot about them. People don’t seem to have them like they used to.
Just got back from Great Clips where my younger sister gave me a haircut. I let her do what she's wants. She used a razor and textured my hair giving me a textured pixie as she called it.
Of course she texted a pic to everyone in the family and one of my brothers texted back "you look even more gay lol".

Dislocating my shoulder from patting myself on the back for forcing myself to mow Mom's yard yesterday evening. Today would have been a miserable day to do it. It's hot and it's definitely *not* a dry heat.

My girlfriend used to cut my hair but then Great Clips had a $13.99 haircut sale and I tried them and they do a better job

Digging the new Accord...got 500 miles on it. Went the back roads to Oxford PA. Grabbed a Wendy's single and tea.
Seen an old car show behind a fireworks manufacturing company in a farmers field.
I saw a Mennonite girl about three and a half with change on a big near 40 hp zt mowing banks.... actually pretty dangerous but she was getting it done.
Dozens of garage sales and furniture makers on the streets selling their wares....
Stopped by a $ store I hardly go to... pretty cashier gives me a $5 coupon and the bill comes to $19.84 and I said that was a great year and she says please tell me why and she starts blushing and says she wasn't born until 1993.
We have a good talk as nobody else was in the store... tall, thin, and black hair with red tinting... gorgeous indeed...
We were both smitten, we gazed into each other's eyes and her eyes asked me if I was going to pay her bills and my eyes replied if you pay mine.....
True story....on to the next.....
Walking out to my car a blue Mitsubishi Sport rolls up and I tell her I love my Mitsubishi's...
She agreed and loves her a 2023 model... only happy faces in Mitsubishi's

Cut down a long dead cedar tree. Found a live wire (UF-B cable?) wrapped around the base of the tree that was run underground to the tree by a former owner for who knows what reason. The wire was terminated with wire nuts which were wrapped with rotting electrical tape. The termination was not watertight and has been sitting like this for I'm guessing a long time. I wrapped the end of the wire and the wire nuts with a healthy dose of fresh electrical tape and covered everything. I'll have my local sparky advise me soon on how to remedy this.

We just left Walmart. Got the oil for grandma mower. I already purchased the filter and special 7/16 square socket for the drain plug. I’m changing the oil, spark plugs and fuel filter tomorrow. It’s a Toro Titan ZX5400 zero turn. I’m the only one of her grandkids who will do anything for her at least in a mechanical aspect and she pays me well though I always insist that she doesn’t have too.
