making preparations for my trip to Vietnam. my friend is leaving in 2 days for Hanoi. i will meet him in Saigon next week. it is a 3 weeks trip. for me my friend is staying for 71 days.

Daughter graduated high school today. She headed off to a couple of parties and I thought about telling her when curfew was and... realized I couldn't. Adult now. Crazy. It also coincides with 30 years since I graduated, which means this fall it'll be 30 years since I went to college. Where did those years go?

I got a couple of 2560 by whatever monitors from work. Am thinking of finding an old graphics card and putting that into my home Linux box to see how it does. Linux Mint doesn't seem to care for my 4k/1k dual monitor setup, or I don't care for it, so maybe dual 2k's (?) will be the ticket? worst case, it all comes apart again and goes back to what it was. Only problem is, desk space. I have my work laptop and my home machine set up so it's 4 screens wide already--going to 5 wide might be a problem (work and home share the 4k).

I could but she's pretty well behaved. No worries.

I’m at the Canadian Brew House in Victoria, BC, watching game 5 of the Stanley Cup Final. Drinking a tankard of Phillips Blue Buck.

This is one of those chain sports bars but it’s up on the patio, sitting in the sun. Super relaxing.

I rarely ever get out or drink.

Just finished a coat of wax and general cleaning of the truck for the first time in my ownership.

I miss my Ranger, even though I still had to drag a ladder out for it, there's a whole lot less paint on it.

Just got home with bbq and wings. Dad got mad because I got teriyaki wings but he was glued in his phone when I asked what sauce he wanted so I got what I wanted lol. I would have happily got him some. We were going to grill but Mother Nature canceled our plans for that it’s pouring down rain.

Why don't you grill in your bedroom nothing else is going on there
