6 June, 1944. The beginning of the end of WW2. Incredible bravery of soldiers and resistance fighters from many nations. I read once about a small American war ship that maneuvered in between the Normandy bluffs to shield the landing craft from withering German gunfire. The ship was badly damaged but saved hundreds of soldiers and sailors. I had a relative that was on the beach that day.

I guess more context is in order. I'm hanging out in the Pits (as a car chief) at the NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals, in Bristol Tennessee.

I got a call from the internet manager from the dealership I visited the other day. She asked if I was treated well etc...

Now this is going to disgust several members here and mods. Frankly I was rather insulted myself.

I had to hear how nice of a guy I was for 20 minutes and it went on and on. At one point I wondered who this woman was talking about. She said the saleslady talked about me all day... i was on the verge of explosive diarrhea myself.....

This story is actually true
I'm somewhat ashamed to mention it but I'm still confused. @AutoMechanic knows me best here and I'm sure he is rather ticked off too...geez.
