What are you doing right now?

Flipping through car ads. Can't shop marketplace as I don't have FB account, CL isn't that promising. The "floor" for anything nice is above what I want to pay. Should not have listened to BITOG wisdom about waiting it out, it appears "never" is when the market is going to go back to what it was.

Supposed to rain, again. It's also prom night. Hard to believe that the youngest is almost done with high school. Where did the years go?

Been wanting to, although I don't like the new tech--my car beeps at me if I leave a window open. It'll beep at me if I get in and a window is open! and forget about driving with TC off, it took huge offense and kept warning me about it being off.

Over the last 3 years we wrecked two good cars; my Corolla replaced one, the other we've done with out. But I was socking away to retirement instead of saving money. Now I have a college bill to contend with, so still no saving money (and if I wasn't paying for college, I'd be saving for retirement instead). I simply have not been able to recover from those two accidents; they derailed my plans.

Once in a while I'll watch the videos on car debug; it's interesting, but goes to show, when something happens, it'll be a snap to fix, but forever to find. And quite possibly (if not probably) expensive.

I just cut the grass and only hit one deer in the process. The pop up camper should be visible from the street for at least the next 15 minutes or so.

Rolled the JD lawn tractor to 90 hours, probably time to trade it. 😛

I’ll see if @Zee09 Carvana wants it.

Cooling off after a 4 hour boat trip to the beach and back home. 91 Degrees now here at home but it was much more pleasant at the ocean.

Recovering. On Friday, I had the day off so I decided to trim the bushes at my new place. I have 8 gigantic holly bushes that exploded with new growth around late March. Spent 7 straight hours going up and down a ladder with a hedge trimmer and a pair of loppers. I feel like I was in a very bad car crash with a loose seat belt. Everything hurts. BAD.

I was there in July last year and very sunny.

Can’t live somewhere for long periods without sunshine.
I was sort of joking, but summer weather here in Seattle is the absolute best from mid June through mid September. Lots of blue skies, not too hot, green plant life and natural beauty. We pay for it the rest of the year though with dark clouds and drizzly rain. We have weather terms that other places around the country don't use, like "sunbreaks," where you might have a few minutes of sun breaking through the clouds. Seattle-ites live for those sunbreaks most of the year.

So definitely come visit during the summer and get out in the mountains, ride a mountain bike on a trail, paddle a kayak on a lake and take a ferry ride... But don't move here with your car. ;)

We are planning vacation out. Hard to plan things with dad as he always insists on waiting till the last possible minute to plan anything. But we are getting along pretty well other than he has started his crap about an Airbnb again so I made it clear not a penny of my money will go towards the lodging if he gets one of those. For me it’s hotel or it’s not vacation. My parents think it’s weird that I’m 23 and we would all be in a room together, I don’t think it’s weird we’ve always stayed in hotels. But that could be good if he gets an Airbnb because that means we would only eat fast food or takeout because I’d be paying for the food in that case.
