I just got home from work about 30 minutes ago. I’m tired. Was helping salesman fix his car. Going to chill now and eat and maybe watch some TV.

I drove the Corvette down to Port Dover Beach for a hot dog. It’s 20C (68F) but Lake Erie is still too cold to swim right now
At the Pink— Victoria Secret store waiting on my wife trying on crap. I’ll eat a protein bar when I get home.
Waiting on a Sony 75" Bravia 5 TV to be delivered today.

Eating some Treet. It’s kind of like Spam but better in my opinion. Then my friend wants to hang out and work on his car. I’m done with working on cars on the side lol. I’ll do it today so I don’t have to worry about doing it tomorrow.
Toyota code of death: C1391. Estimated repair at the dealer often is higher that the car is worth, so this failure sent many Toyota Hybrids to junkyards.
Replacing the master cylinder and ABS accumulator on a 2012 Prius C. My parents just had exactly same failure and replacement on a 2012 Highlander Hybrid. Seems like a very common issue on high mileage Toyota Hybrids.
Windshield wipers off.
Plastics and wiper motor assembly off. Now let's get that drain tray outta here.
Voila! So much room for activities now!
There is the guest of the show. Apparently the actual failure happens due to an internal leak from the master cylinder and into the brake module. Unfortunately it kills the ABS accumulator in the process, so gotta replace both at same time.
Alrighty now... how the heck do I gently stuff new parts in this tiny opening with my sausage fingers?... Toyota engineers definitely didn't consider that bigger humans will ever be working on this.

How many miles on the Prius C? Asking for a friend.
My wife has Prius C that she puts about 25k a year in.

Getting ready to go to Home Depot to buy an 8 ft. (12 ft. reach) Werner step ladder that I don't want, but NEED for stuff around my new house. I do not like climbing ladders.
Ladders are one of the most dangerous things around the house. Don't skimp.
I know people who have had life changing injuries from falling from ladders. I am extremely careful whenever I have to be on a ladder. One of the things I'm going to need it for is to get high enough to trim some BIG (holly?) bushes that are currently 8-9 feet tall. I plan to secure the ladder to the center of each bush with a cargo strap before climbing it.

336k, but this is the second time this Prius C is getting such treatment. Allegedly the first time happened around 200k.How many miles on the Prius C? Asking for a friend.
Otherwise it's on a 3rd hybrid battery, original engine and CVT.
Working on cars at home gets old when it's day job.
