Since I seem to have lots of energy tonight I’ve been digging deep in Google trying to find an article of how we used to have a 24 hour Advance Auto store here because none of my coworkers believe me so I’m bound and determined to find it lol. But to be fair it hasn’t been 24 hours in a decade or more lol but I’m going to prove them wrong.

I worked on the Tractor and mowed two lawns and a memory came back to me. I never forget a loss.

Back in 1969 my father wanted to get us a dog. My brother wanted a German Short-hair Pointer. My father called around and found a kennel that sold one to a guy a year earlier and he didn't want the dog anymore. We were told the owner was abusing the poor dog.

The guy was giving it away for free.
When we got to his house it was obvious the dog was abused, dirty, and without any spirit at all. The scumbag said you can have it but I need $50.

My mom told my dad to just pay him and let's get out of there. He did and away we went.... The dog favored me over everyone and was my best companion through many hard times. We got 14 years out of Buster.
He died on 4/28/1983 and he's buried with a plaque at my mother's old house and I checked today and although my folks are gone Busters plaque is still there.....

He was a great dog and I'm happy he found us. The original owner would put out his cigarettes on his back. That jerk deserved a bullet...

I've known several German Shorthairs in my life. Every single one was a genuinely good dog.

I'm thinking about this woman that sat across from me at the VW place today...
I'm guessing she's 50 to 55 and one of the happiest people I have ever seen in my life... she looked like 5'2' and absolutely huge. As big around as tall...she made two of me.

I only say that to get you to know what she looked like and no judgement at all..

I have seen many like her and the weird thing was her phone rang and it was her doctors office called and gave her test results and I actually heard the nurse tell her to keep doing what's she's doing because her test results were perfect.

I have a 79 year old cousin that is just like her but taller and she still works and her health is perfect.
Genetics and environment I guess ????

Just replaced a toilet fill valve at my mom's as it stopped flowing. There are a lot of minerals in the water here and it seems to mess up plumbing fixtures. The cold water tap in the kitchen sink restricted flow, too.

Worked on the wife's car, the sensor that detects low windshield washer fluid... the seal on it is bad, so it leaks out all the washer fluid. Self fulfilling prophecy I guess, or how it earns it keep. Will have to order a seal tomorrow--I'm guessing, however gasoline got into the tank, that it attacked the rubber. I bet I should get a seal for the pump while I think of it...

We have been riding around town for almost 4 hours because dad can’t decide what to have for dinner. I’m going to start doing everything on my own this is getting ridiculous. I’m about to go crazy without my soda too. Oh well I ordered some more DVDs so that keeps me calm for now.

I just have to find someone to live with like a girl. I’m terrified of living alone that’s the main reason why I haven’t moved out yet.

I’m sitting in the dark, I have been without power now for 4 hours after a strong thunderstorm with very high winds came quickly through here today. I have a feeling that the power won’t be restored for quite a while. After hitting a high of almost 80 degrees today, it’s going down to just 32 overnight so with no power a lot of people are going to need extra blankets tonight

I think you spoke of having phobias. I'd look into seeking help with that. I'm sure there plenty of ad's somewhere of people wanting a roommate, that's an option.

My wife and I once took my dad's boat and anchored offshore overnight on Lake Erie. I was kinda spooked despite knowing nothing would happen. It was surreal we were far enough from land where there was less light pollution and we could see a lot of stars.

I will add some employers and health plans might offer mental health services like a councilor you can talk to.

Worked on my daughter's Escape. Then took the quad out to check the trails and my vole traps. Only up to 7 this year but last year's hard work has paid off. Came across this fine specimen out on the trails.

Researching TV's. My nephew attends Ohio State and school ends this week so he's moving in this weekend. He wants a TV so I'm looking at ones good for PS5 gaming. I might upgrade and put my Hisense U7 in his room.
