What are you doing right now?

I took the Corvette out for a spin, it is 72 degrees here right now so it’s one of the nicest days of the year so far 😎
I gave it a quick $3 coin wash to get rid of two weeks worth of dust and then filled the tank with some Shell 93.
I was all ready to sit down and enjoy some Blue Jays baseball tonight but the game isn’t being televised tonight. That only happens a handful of times a year. Maybe I’ll watch the Yankees instead 🤓

Man I was with you all the way until you mentioned the blasted Yankees. 🤮

This evening I mounted a couple of used tires for my semi broke and newlywed college student son with my harbor freight manual changer. I learn something every I use it. This time it was that bead sealer makes it way easier to get the bead to set on stubborn tires. Better than tire lube, for me anyway.

Getting some food at McDonald’s. I worked until 9pm tonight so I’m worn the heck out. Had 4 call ins today and over 100 appointments scheduled. We got them all done but man I’m tired. I worked until 9 because I was helping out coworkers with their cars as well. We close at 6 and of course someone had to come in at 5:45 wanting an oil change.

Getting ready to go out and hopefully eat. Grandma and aunt just stopped by to drop off me and mom and nieces birthday gifts. Me and my nieces birthday is Wednesday and my mom’s is not this Monday but next Monday the 28th. I love grandmas homemade quits and that’s what I got because I asked her to please make me another one. Homemade stuff is the best especially quilts which have lots of love and memories attached to them.

Finished lunch, after the first 25 mile bike ride of the season. It elected to sprinkle and get windy on me, so not the most fun. Not sure if I will do much else outside today. Might run out and get rid of a few gallons of waste oil, not sure if I have any shopping to do though.

Just burned most of the hair off my hand... I had a tire that refused to seat the bead. Ratchet straps, bead seal, cursing and pleading, nothing worked. Then I remembered a youtube video by some maniac who used starter fluid and a lighter to seat the bead on a tractor tire.

Yikes! It works all right. I might have used a little more car quest brand ether than I needed to, though. Poof!
