We just finished eating at Golden Corral. I need a soda now lol. Going to go home and relax and enjoy the Padres game.
I turned off send read receipts on my iPhone, my wife noticed and called asking why I turned it off.

I had a very busy day yesterday, left my apartment at 7am and drove 80 miles to Niagara on the Lake to give a historical walking tour. It was a very lovely couple from Philly with their two kids. After that I popped over the border into the US to grab a few things from Walmart that I can’t get here (such as my favorite cereal and pickle mayo) Then we had a team meeting and meet/greet in Niagara on the Lake to get to know our new employees. By the time I got home it was 11pm, a long but very fun day overall

Actually a large unsweet tea with extra ice, oatmeal bar, and baconator without Swiss cheese sauce... I didn't want to ride TSLA out as I wanted the easy cash...

Actually I'm embezzling funds legally
On vacation with the family in Destin, FL. Drove from NY. Fun trip. I could care less for the beach but everyone else is happy. So I'm happy.
Story of my life. My heart is up in the mountains.
I'd rather be camping in 50 degree weather in the rain. I'm gonna watch dome yiutube tent videos with rain sounds now.
So it's been a few days of adjusting. It's not bad, just not used to tight fitting shoes. Maybe I'll make the trek down some day, I think Nashua is only an hour and a half drive.

Right now I'm trying to decide if I want to take tomorrow off. I mentioned it to the boss today and he was like "have a good long weekend" so I can tell it's approved.
Last night I tried out my new tire plug kit and plugged a tire that I shouldn't have. It held on the way to work, so I can tell, it was well done. Rotated the all seasons on before going into work, just so as to test it out. Maybe tomorrow I'll get my son to help with sanding rust off his CRV and otherwise putter around on it.
Hanging out with my granddaughter. She pretty much sleeps and grunts but she is cute

I'm up looking at hotels in Palm Coast Florida because I don't need privacy or the convenience of a house.
I don't need a nice kitchen or a washer dryer or a higher end pool and garage. Only fast food for me and sodas and noisy in room HVAC system.
A large refrigerator with ice maker is unimportant and I like it when the hotel staff rifle through my belongings when I'm away.
Another plus for older folks is the 3 mile walk to get to your room. Nobody needs a 30 foot walk to a cheaper vacation rental.
Nobody needs a few thousand square feet of house with a yard and pool when you can stay in a 50 sq ft room.
If I have to stay in a house I should just stay home.

I found a hotel this morning that was only $400 more a week than a spacious house and instead of getting sodas by the case cheap I can just get them at the vending machines as I need them for only $1.75 each.
I am spending a week with the WRK aka Zipper Head... and Chimmie too. I'm really excited about the beatings and kind sayings I'm going to hear like " Jim if you don't know what you're talking about, don't talk about it" " Jim you're preaching to the choir" and of course " Jim I never said that "
From there if I survive I'm going to Ocala and hang out with a few realtors and find another hotel that suits my needs for far more money than a mansion.. I'm very excited

I took the Corvette out for a spin, it is 72 degrees here right now so it’s one of the nicest days of the year so far 
I gave it a quick $3 coin wash to get rid of two weeks worth of dust and then filled the tank with some Shell 93.
I was all ready to sit down and enjoy some Blue Jays baseball tonight but the game isn’t being televised tonight. That only happens a handful of times a year. Maybe I’ll watch the Yankees instead

Relaxing while watching Hot Fuzz. Took the day off, picked up sticks in the woods (wife was making piles of them) and filling in the swamp. Wound up changing the oil in the ATV, CRV and Camry--and the Corolla is sending warnings about needing that next.
