I’m glad that I don’t have many clocks to reset. Just the one on my stove. Everything else sets itself automatically when the time changes.

I’m just chilling. Getting ready to go get groceries. And then wash clothes and I’m cooking dinner tonight. Kind of excited. My parents think I’m just wanting to learn to cook to impress women which is partially true lol.
After moving 2 pieces of furniture, I sit wondering why I have to wait to deliver them to a niece who is home.
Her boyfriend is there to help too.

My girlfriend and I went out for a nice drive through the wine region of Niagara and right now she is doing a wine tasting. The view at this place is amazing

I am pressing heavy compression springs in the 20x40 lathe...I run a rod through the headstock and make a bushing for the tailstock which has over a 7 inch barrel travel. I had this lathe made in 2003....

Sitting at the laundromat looking around and wondering when my perfect girl is going to come along. I’ve been feeling it today. Super lonely but still happy at least. Just trying to look for social events but can’t find any that I’d be interested in around my area or if I am it’s boys only. I honestly don’t know what to do anymore. I know someone is out there for me but I don’t know where she is. When I was younger this girl at my church liked me but me and her have very different interests and she doesn’t want kids and I want 4 kids if not more so I don’t think we are compatible and she has a few other things that I can’t deal with so I don’t know what to do.

I need to do something. If I didn’t work 12 hours a day I’d consider a second job but it just wears me out so much with one. I like money though so I work, work, work. I’m hoping one day the right one just shows up somewhere and I meet her.

It’s a medium sized town. Population declined from 2020-2023 but it is one of the fastest growing and fastest urbanizing areas in Virginia. In fact it’s the most populous town that’s west of our capitol Richmond. In 2020 population of Roanoke City was 100,011 in 2023 it was 97,000ish it’s also a mountain town surrounded by the Blue Ridge Mountains and Appalachian Mountains so it’s basically Roanoke then mountains on every side and then you climb the mountains to land in other towns. I’m in suburban Roanoke County at the bottom of a mountain which the population is significantly lower than the city.
Ever since Norfolk-Western/Southern Railway left and laid off all their workers or moved them to Atlanta or Pennsylvania, Carilion Health Group has been the center of the jobs and economy in Roanoke City. As for Roanoke County I have no idea what their biggest employer is probably the county itself or the police department.

I just love my job a lot and the people there. Plenty of girls work for the company of over 1,000 employees but not many in the Toyota division or in the shop period.
Healthcare is the fastest growing field in the US right now. And you would expose yourself to other health care disciplines that you may be interested in and not beat up your body. Wrench on the side for fun. Think about it. See what is available at the hospitals.
