What are you doing right now?

I just got back from an 88km drive in the Corvette, the first drive since December 31st! Man it felt good! I took it to the $3 coin wash and got rid of the two months worth of dust on it, and then added 30L of fresh Shell 93. The upcoming forecast looks promising for more drives next week too. I definitely am driving it on Monday, as I have an appointment for the installation of new back tires (Continental DWS06+) I’m finally replacing the original back tires after 106,200km! That must be a record for Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires. I could have probably run them another 10,000 km but they are over 7 years old now so their time is up

Daughter was in a couple of short plays so watched that tonight. Earlier I spent the afternoon cleaning old emails off my work PC and getting a lot of old personal files also off that PC. They had piled up on there years ago, accidentally, and I've been slowly pulling them off.

Didn't realize I had a TB on Yahoo! email? I would have deleted a bit less had I known that...

Need to drive that beast harder ... might as well try some 0W-16 in that thing with that driving style. ;) :D

I do drive it hard but I just don’t go full throttle from a dead stop very much as it just results in too much spin. I like to go full throttle on the roll a lot though. It makes for less stress on the driveline that way too.

Just got home from the bowling alley a few minutes ago now I’m at the gas station with dad getting some sodas and food. I had the best time of my life tonight for the first time in a long time. I want to do it again.
We all had a great time knowing you were having fun.

Took this cottonwood down this morning at my buddy's place...probably about 80' high. Bobcat at the base for reference.

Just got home from Great Clips and got a haircut from my younger sister. She put something in my hair and slicked it back and I look like I came out of the 50's. My wife laughed when I got home and took pics.

I’m sure she has clientele that only want her to cut their hair.

I’ve been going to the same barber for like 27 years….. 👨‍🦰💈 ✂️ 💇‍♂️

Barber: The same cut since the beginning ?
Me: Yes, short but not too short

We are all supposed to get a raise beginning this pay period. Hoping they will let me get $22-$23 an hour. $46 is crazy but I guess that’s diesel stuff too. I have money right now that I’m comfortable for a few more weeks at least but I definitely want kids and preferably a working girl but if she doesn’t work that’s fine too as long as I get kids out of it.

Wabtec (formerly GE Transportation) $28-30 an hour.

You’ve got the skills for this type of job.

I've been going to the same barber for at least 20 years, maybe more than 25 (I might have cheated once or twice)--me! Hair clippers and a couple of minutes, quick buzz and over with. Of course, as the years pass, me and a billiard ball are starting to look a lot alike.

I can be pretty cheap when I feel like it... ask my wife.

Kicking back, enjoying an IPA. Thinking about watching Blade Runner, haven't seen the original.

Been a week--company I work for has a competitor trying to buy it, so that may mean big changes ahead. Have to wait and see, working in tech means riding the roller coaster. Meanwhile I hit a goal that I've been waiting for: 25 years of service. It's a gold star that I know means nothing anymore, but it meant something to me, and I'll take it. But I have zero intention of doing a second 25, here or anywhere! once was enough, just like having kids, that ship has sailed.

We are just riding around town looking for some dinner. I wish I was bowling again haha. We went up and seen my sister and her husband and kids then they left and went on a thrifting and dinner date and we watched the kids. We had a Minecraft war and a Nerf gun fight lol except my niece who played with her pet tortoise and read her book the whole time. I can’t relate to anything with these kids and I hate that but it’s just the generational differences and they are limited in what they can watch they can’t watch SpongeBob, Ren and Stimpy or anything. I don’t agree with that but I can’t make the rules for them so it is what it is. When they come to our house next time I’m putting SpongeBob on lol.

Me and my dad had a very deep conversation today about just life in general and plans for the future and how to be prepared for situations on dates and after dates about magic 3 letter word lol. It was a good conversation that he initiated and just wanted to catch up with me and offer advice where he could. I’m glad that both my parents care enough to give me advice and assurance on things.
