Sell a couple of the cars that you have laying around. Pay debt off. Put some money into an IRA every week. Small amounts pay big dividends in the long run. You won't have to work until you fall over.

I think my main goals are getting a girlfriend and getting the heck out of my parents house I’m tired of living there nothing against them just want out for the drama and I’m going to turn 23 in April most people my age aren’t living at home. Ideally I’d like to move closer to my work but I don’t mind the drive either as it’s scenic and peaceful. If I don’t find a woman soon I’m just going to give up in life probably the way I’m feeling right now.You’ll get there, I’m sure! Funny. Seems like yesterday some guys at work and I were sitting there middle of a night shift thinking and talking. Someone even mentioned "man, we only got another 30 or so years to be here!" Boom. We are all retired now. Seems like in a flash. Another guy said
"time flies when you having fun, and even when you not." May be some truth to that. Keep on working and remember every work day you are building your future. Can't get anyplace without the effort.

I could buy a wife online and have her shipped like my coworker did in 1997 lol. I’m not interested in military too many regulations and no interest in fighting lol. Too many people in my family have been in the military and gotten hurt. My uncle got run over by a tank with a faulty brake.
Well, if you had no more than 1 streaming expense monthly, or better yet zero, and didn't get a lot of discs and other "stuff" you'd have a good bit more than $60, enough to even save some more. Or afford a few dates.

Hard to eliminate the streaming when you like a vast majority of shows and nowadays with destinations not having cable anymore you have to use your services on their TVs. I lived at home until I was 30! It allowed me to save up to buy a brand new townhouse with only a small mortgage though. My son is 23 and still lives with his mom, he is saving for a house and plans on moving out in about two years.
There’s no point to move out too soon if it means that you have to pay rent somewhere. Stay home a bit longer in order to save up more money
Don’t give up hope on finding someone special. I only really had short term relationships as a teenager and most of my twenties. I didn’t have my first long term relationship until I met my son’s mother when I was 27.

My goal is to never rent only buy. Kind of pointless to rent somewhere in my opinion when I could buy and put all the money into owning instead of paying someone else.

I’m eating dinner. My parents asked me at the dinner table if I have talked to anymore girls and I said no. They are wanting me to meet someone but they said don’t rush it. I really appreciate their advice and excitement over it. I honestly can’t believe I was scared to tell them. I never knew they would be this supportive of me finding a girl. I guess they want more grandkids really bad lol. I definitely want some kids I just need to be in a good spot financially for it. My dad is like you should try asking some of those girls we see at the store you know they are the do it on the first date type girls and I spit out my drink laughing so hard. I just know I’ll never regret telling them about me wanting to find a relationship I thought I was going too but I’m going to be fine lol. The female service advisor at work told me if I ever have questions or need advice just ask her. She is married though but very nice of her to offer to help. I’m hoping one of my friends can connect me with someone somehow.

Not hard at all. It's called the off button. You cancel everything that costs monthly fees and do a cost-free alternative instead.

I'm mad at the moment--I've had Yahoo! email for years. I noticed a week or two ago that it changed its "view". And tonight... I just noticed that it's using that AI.... carp for the term that I think I can use... for rewording email subject lines. I hate it and it's only been 5 seconds. I plan to send a nastygram to Yahoo email about it. I want nothing to do with that AI junk and if I need to, I'll change email addresses, despite having the same email for the last 30 years.

I hear ya- I've been using yahoo mail since about 1999 and the new format is terrible. So far they haven't messed up the Android version.
