It is also about the journey, but this was mile away
Trying to decide if I want to make a run to town and car shop. Tired of playing musical cars. I also think I'm tired of my current car and want anything else, that has to be part of it, just tired of something that does not meet my wants. Also just need to get out of the house, it's winter, we keep the house cool, and my basement man cave suffers for it.
Will have to work on the wife's brakes tonight, garage said one of the pads is stuck and while it's still got material, it's not going to for long. Didn't even make it a year this time between brake cleaning/lubing! These electric parking brakes are hard on brake pads. Well, our road salt is... sheesh.
Is it springtime yet? I've had enough.

Cleaned the mouse off after years of use. Bleh! Took a rake to my orange tree to get the last few off before they get too ripe and mushy. Now, going to a local car meet.

I just got home after spending the day with my son at the Toronto Auto Show, it’s a yearly tradition that we started in 2012 when he was 10 years old. My dad first started taking me to the same car show when I was ten years old too! 
My elder brother called and brought up he doesn't like the that I'm going to have a home built where I can't shoot guns unlike at my current place. Guns and shooting doesn't amuse me anymore.

Would love to have somewhere with my own private range. What a great thing.
Transferring some money into my Roth. Will have to remember to go back in and in turn transfer into a fund tomorrow. Was looking at a stock and want to sell it so as to "cover" this Roth transfer. But was then reminded that I'd sell it at a loss--and pay on the sale. Might wait a few days on that, can always hope for a better day.
Bummed that this weekend was cold, was hoping to get outside a bit and enjoy some warm weather. Nope, not this weekend. Soon, but not soon enough...

Just finishing up laundry. Looking at my next credit card to apply for since my credit score is going up and my debt is going down. Going to try for the Apple Card also applied for the eBay card and a Citi card. My Discover Card is almost paid off and Capital One is getting there slowly. Just need another one to make my score go up but also need one to pay a little bit on vacation since I won’t be able to save up quite enough. Hopefully I get approved for one or all. Waiting till next month to apply for Apple as the score needs to be at least 660 which it will be next month. Everyone I talk to says the average American has at least 3 cards so that will be number 3 so I can officially class myself as average. My parents both have around 10 each I think mom actually has 14 but they are also in their 50s and 60s so that’s pretty normal I’d say. I’m just never maxing one out again that was dumb on my part like they say you live and you learn. Besides credit cards and vacation all I want in life now is a girl lol.
You probably can't afford a girl and credit cards. And you are paying INSANE interest rates on those. The Total Money Makeover. If it can make a millionaire of an old man think what it could do for a young guy. Many here will say cards are fine but they pay them off every month so they aren't paying 25%.
I’m not quite 50 but I think I only have three cards—I really should run a credit report and find out, there might be some old long lost cards. But I don’t need any more. It’d be nice to have one with a $20k limit so I could buy a car, but that’s a bit of a stretch. A lower limit is just fine.

You don’t need multiple credit cards to get a good credit rating. I only have one credit card (and pay it off every month) and my credit score is 851. I have no debt at all actually, I own both of my cars outright and my condo is fully paid off.

Same here. Wife & I keep one CC and each have one debit card. Zero debt. All has been paid off for years. We buy things on the CC and then pay it off each month.

Wow you old people have it made lol. Guess I will be there one day when I can actually afford to save money and not have to go in debt. I wish I made enough to where I didn’t have to live paycheck to paycheck with maybe $60 leftover if I don’t get extras. I’d like to buy a house but need a woman with income first lol. If I didn’t pay about $300 in taxes on my income I’d be a lot better off but you know how that goes.
