What are you doing right now?

Sitting inside, with my oversized Chihuahua, Dumb Georgie as I drink coffee. It's -38c outside but sunny and not a lot of wind. Already had one of the sleds running (they start better than some fuel injected cars) and contemplating going for a ride soon.
 
Just finished ordering new blades and air and oil filters for the John Deere Z535M. I'll finally have a chance to use my new Makita 1/2" impact wrench to remove the old blades. Complete overkill for the job, but so what. 😛
 
Ripped to town for some odds and ends. Picked up the fuel and oil filters for the JD 325 skid steer 500 hour service. Mailed in the used oil sample for my Ram 3500 6.7.

Then put on plenty of cold miles on the sleds. My 14 year old daughter and her friend went for a burn as well. Not far in, her sled had a clunk and a nasty vibration that was rpm dependent. Sounds like it was still firing on both cylinders so it's likely clutch..... that will go in the shop later this week for a tear down.
 
Pulling parts for a front and rear brake job on a Transit T-350. There is a bunch of hardware that is required one time use and thankfully I did the P&A so it was all on the quote. Now to play the fun game of seeing which parts are in the wrong bin locations.
 
I'm installing Windows 11 on my Mom's unsupported laptop. Her neighbor "helpfully" installed an oddball Linux distro on it and turned on every BIOS password possible. You had to enter 4 or 5 different passwords just to log in but no one knows what all the passwords are. I was able to crack the BIOS admin password, but couldn't recover the BIOS encrypted hard drive. I had to throw the drive away and install everything from scratch on a new SSD.

The government might just be out to get her paranoid neighbor, but I don't think my mom is on their radar, LOL.

Join meetup.com and go to their singles mixers. Try speed dating, which is usually a meetup event, lots of fun.

Some of the speed dating companies have an online form that you fill out afterwards to see who you matched with, and if you don't find anyone, some events let you have a free re-do.

Sounds interesting for sure. They might be my best choice cause I want someone lol.
 
Crud, need to do another brake job on our 90kmile hybrid. I replaced the rear pads once already, it might need them again. Pads freeze in the caliper. I know I lubed the pad ears last spring, but apparently it's eaten another pad--passed safety inspection but time to do it again. Might just have to do this twice a year?

What I wouldn't do for a garage with a lift... maybe in another lifetime.

Getting my head back into the workday, worked late last night and sometimes I think that poisons the next day.
