What are you doing right now?

Got back from some Christmas shopping, went with the son, didn't find much. Had to return some stuff at UPS for Amazon, as Amazon had their UPC's mixed up and I wasn't getting the right color item that I wanted. I guess I'll do some more shopping off Amazon.

Supposed to be my day off but I'll probably do some work anyhow. Snow tonight and no idea what that'll do for tomorrow, if I have to drive both kids to school and go to work and shovel the driveway... well I might as well do tomorrow's work today.

Still on the fence about getting my next car, it's driving me nuts not having what I want (utility). Wife thinks i should go look at the xB that I found but it seems like it's overpriced, as per BITOG. Can't make up my mind, don't want to spend the money.

I should go back to looking at how to do direct deposit into Fidelity. I sent an email to HR about it last week but so far, crickets, so I guess they have no idea and I'll have to figure out on my own. Was hoping someone in HR had done this before and could easily tell me the steps, you know, if I could be lazy about it and utilize the dept whose job it is to help me do stuff like this.
 
I’m at the gas station getting a soda. Long day today. Worked an extra hour than normal not too bad but worn out and never want to work on any Jeep again lol. There is a reason I’m not a Jeep technician lol. I watched Frosty and The Grinch earlier. Just kicking back and relaxing and getting ready to get a shower.
 
About to go to my piece of crap flip and meet with someone I know interesting in buying it unfinished. The slab floor is cracked along the wall.

I just vacuumed and cleaned my office while checking my blood sugar every hour. Goobering on web. Selling junk on fleabay. the usual
 
Bored as heck at my sisters house lol. And it’s very drafty and cold inside the house. Today is her birthday and so we are watching her kids. Hopefully she gets back soon we have been here since 10am. I’m about to go insane watching this Netflix show on soup because that’s what dad wanted to watch I need real shows and less phone time lol. I’ve just been looking at the Christmas tree the entire time and hoping we get ours up tomorrow.
 
Finishing my coffee so I have one less excuse keeping me from going out to rake more leaves. I also have to replace the driver side low-beam bulb on the Sonata.
 
Snowed a bit last night, didn't get outside soon enough to shovel, so people drove on it. But I got it just about all scraped off. Driveway has a tilt to it, so it's nice to keep ice free when I can.

Not sure what to do with the day. Was going to try and do some backup on info, but missing a USB to hard drive cable, so that might have to wait. Might play with some electronic projects, I keep accumulating things with the hopes of doing something, but always put it off.

Looks like the xB that I wanted to look at is sold. Wife still thinks I should get something but I don't want to spend the money. I worry too much about making a bad choice.
 
Finally got dad out of the house. Of course he would want to go and sit down somewhere and eat and waste time. I’ll never understand old people wanting to eat in restaurants lol. It’s at my least favorite restaurant too Waffle House. I just hope it’s quick I’m ready to get on with the day. I’ve got a bunch of things to do and have to put up the Christmas tree as well.
 
Started matching some mylar capacitors--only to realize, I made the bins too wide. I thought they were +/-10%, turns out they are +/-5%. So sorting into +/-0.05% is probably twice as wide as I needed... or IOW, I'm not using all the bins after binning. Not sure if it's really worth redoing, as matching into sets of +/-0.5% then using 1% resistors is... approaching overkill. [Watch me start matching resistors next.]

I know I have better things to do...
