What are you doing right now?

You may be looking back fondly at this minor annoyance some day.
Been through a few of these. Was without power for a week one time in the middle of winter. Open fireplace was the only heat source, and lots of warm clothes.

It's been 324 years since the last largish incident. Was it about a 9.0? I never know.

Intense indeed but maybe a poorly called fight? Outside observers claim Amanda landed more punches.
It was a close fight, but I agree with you. Regardless, I have never seen two fighters go toe-to-toe exchanges headshots for 10 rounds like they did. I'm an athletic 6'5" and 240 lbs. I wouldn't even see it coming if I faced down one of them.

I shouldn't post the link here but if you want to see old fashioned toe-to-toe headshots, go to YT and Google Don Frye vs Yoshihiro Takayama. The video won't disappoint lol.

Leaving for shul soon. Stopping by Walmart on the way home to pick up toys we are donating. Dropping the toys off in a few weeks at a local TV station firefighters for kids toy drive.

Made it home from the nursing home. Daughter quite grumpy after putting stuff away and getting groceries.
Got things straightened with the bank so she can sign my checks finally to pay bills that are not on auto pay.
Sure is nice tp have Net-Flix back and real movies again.

Looks like freezing rain tomorrow, so will rotate on the snows I think. Otherwise take it easy, as I took the week off.

Do have to travel this evening, daughter is in a high school concert and that will take up the evening.

Ordered tires for the wife's car--feel bad, 4 to 5 32's left, but winter is coming. Not a bad run, nearly 50k on this set of Conti TrueContacts--better than the 40k we usually get out of RT43's.

Spent a moment ogling handicap vans. Ouch. Not looking forward to taking on that loan. Son expressed interest in starting to use a mobility scooter while at school; thing is, as you might guess, he's not going to be able to lift a ramp let alone a scooter. Have to mull this over, as I think he wants it for this winter.

Cleaning up after we got about a foot of powder. Thankfully no real wind so the drifts were not bad. Had both skid steers running all day.

On a positive note, got the sleds up and running. Although, these big girls hate the deep powder.

This is around 18-19” of snow at Arapahoe Basin, where I ski all the time. Hoping by tomorrow morning they get 30”. That would make best start of season in quite few years.
Thinking should I take kids to ski tomorrow since they are on the Thanksgiving break.
Ah yes, if you thinking traveling on I70 through the Rockies, don’t:

Pumpkin pie time! Using Libby's pumpkin filling (just add spices, eggs, condensed mild, sugar) and simple crust recipe. I placed foil around the edges to prevent them from burning. Some of the pie filling seeped into the foil, causing it to stick to the crust. Removing the foil took a piece of the crust with it.

I had some dough left over so I made a mini-pie....a preview of tomorrow feast!

Relaxing--MIL took us out to dinner. Doing a bit of Black Friday shopping. Going to look at some python code in a bit, asked online and someone pointed something out that I didn't know (not a programmer). Upset that my work computer elected to reboot all on its own, stupid Microsoft updates. Waiting for tomorrow's snow, planning on plowing, as my back has been wonky for the last month and I don't think I will do a lot of shoveling this year.
