I’m trying to get motivated to fix my truck lol. Well I should say I have the motivation just forgot to get the red loctite so have to go get some. You have to use red because it’s permanent and only removes with high heat and this will be holding an insert for spark plug threads. I thought I had red loctite but like everything else I can’t find it and also forgot to get the setting punch too to set the insert with.
Forgetfulness, the harbinger of old age and mental decline.
Taking it easy, hoping today will be better—hurt my back Friday, limped around yesterday, but managed to inflame it worse as I wanted to do some work on a trailer—spent all evening propped up in bed so as to let it relax. Today will be spent sitting around I guess. Maybe I should start the work week early and do less during the week.
Getting ready for church, which is a drive across the Nooksack valley (really a delta). Yesterday I changed coolant in the CRV. That thing gets air pockets in the heater core, it's an odd one. See what happens!
I'm cleaning, relabeling, and refilling my spice jars, and reorganizing the spice collection which includes culling the herbs and spices that have lost freshness and potency and making a list of those that need to be replenished. There's also a batch of Basmati rice cooking on the stovetop.
If I have extremely nothing to do I assemble figure kits. Bought this 8 years ago, just never bothered to put it together until now. So many small bits and pieces since this is an articulating figure vs fixed pose figures with less parts.

Tried to watch that Tyson fight but Netflix was having issues and finally it was unwatchable. Thinking the feed or whatever it's called has crashed. So, my daughters and I watched a WW2 documentary.

Yeah, had to watch it on my iPhone, wouldn't play on the TV or a web browser.
Mike was less vital than I expected, but did last all 8 rounds, so there was no win by knockout as Jake was hyping about. His legs didn't look great according to the announcer (and he was wearing a brace) which may have played a role, but he said that wasn't an excuse, you come to fight, you fight.
Yeah, but he did pretty good for being 58. What other pro boxer has done this at 58? I would have let Jake knock me out for half that.
Did you see the two pro women fight before the Tyson vs Paul fight ... wowsers.

It’s gotten cold here. We are cruising around. Had a great time at the basketball game today. Probably going to pick up some Taco Bell or something and go home and chill with TV or a movie. Parents and me have been watching and alternating between two shows Breaking Bad and Orange is the New Black both great shows. And then I always watch my own shows before bed too.
I'm putting raisins and cranberries in a large glass jar and adding rum. We are talking about 3 lbs of currents and over half a liter of Diplomatico. The currants will plump up considerably. To be used in Christmas cakes and raisin bread.

If that was a real fight I think the outcome would’ve been different. Jake could’ve knocked Tyson flat out but he clearly was going easy on him. They are good friends so there is no way Jake was going to take down his idol like that. It was clearly all for show and given the terrible streaming situation that night a lot of viewers didn’t even get to see the fight. A total disgrace on every level
Going to do lunch, after getting my atv unstuck. The tree stump that I had been thinking about cutting down, sure enough, became a problem. After lunch I’ll go and cut that, maybe rake some leaves. Tempted to do a Walmart run once it gets dark, did two oil changes today and noticed that I have six gallons of waste oil to get rid of. Might as well get more new oil while at it.
MIL dropped off her old leaf blower. Turns out it will also vacuum and mulch, so have been using that.
I should try to figure out my tire leak, it is accelerating. Problem is, I think I spotted it, small nail, but too close to the sidewall.
Too soon to swap on snow tires.
