What are you doing right now?

How many are there? How involved to get them? Can one work on and obtain more than one at the same time?

I thought they had different ones like:
A/C , brakes, suspension, engine, frame, transmission, emissions, etc….

Not to be nosy but what happened to you ?

Good luck, employee referrals help big time in getting your foot in the door. (y)
Our dept was laid off 6/3/23 then terminated 9/20/23.
Had a mild heart attack 8/20/23. Two stents.
Bowel obstructions on 8/31 & 11/26/23.
Laparoscopic surgery 12/14. Didn't work so back in hospital 1/3/24.
Major surgery 1/10: removal 6" of bowel and hernia mesh due to adhesions (scar tissue attached to bowel).
4 days later, an abscess had formed so they went back in through the incision to remove on 1/17.
Incision couldn't be stapled back together so they said it had to heal by itself (!). 3/4"x5" cut.
Got out 1/30, back in 2 days later for a couple hours for stitches due to a tiny artery bleed in the incision.
3 days later, back in hospital for 9 days because of an ulcer bleed on the reattachment area of bowel due to one of the heart meds (anti-coagulation).
Total of 50 days in hospital since 8/20/23. Went from about 155#s to just under 126#s due to the number of times I was unable to eat for days (insides had to be clear).
Been home since with slow recovery.
Have a shoulder inflammation issue that has gotten better with a couple months of PT. Posture and all that time lying in bed didn't help.
Old job denied me reemployment for bogus reason (found out they were never intending to hire any of us back). Was there almost 25 years.
Been paying COBRA with all this going on as I wasn't about to get into any insurance mess and I thought I might be back at work earlier.
Really hoping this job pans out. It will be a huge reset button on my life.

Thank you for the well wishes on the job!(y)

I just got to work. Nothing more irritating than someone taking your assigned parking spot so now I have to prepare in case the snitch salesman tells on us. But someone was in my spot when I got here nothing I can do about that. I hope today isn’t busy like the last two days have been. I wish it was Friday lol. They sent out an email yesterday saying that anyone who calls out for sports will now face a one day unpaid suspension due to the rising number of call outs on those days. I’m sure most of them won’t care about that and will still do it anyway.

Layoffs at my company in less than 2 hours. My stuff was backed up a week ago, we'll see if I make it to the other side.

Survived. 22 didn't, consoling one that I know personally. It really stinks knowing it will happen ahead of time, back in 2018 had quite a bit of PTSD from it.

Cleaned up the debris in the back yard from the hurricane . Took a shower and ate lunch . Chillin on the internet now .

Going out to finish power washing down the house and anything else in reach. Got half done yesterday. Upper 80Fs again and very dry.

Already bought 100 gallons of regular diesel for tractor winter activities in the past month due to falling prices. Went ahead for another 100 gallons but I feel like I'm catching a falling knife.

We just got sodas now going to the local movie theater to see Reagan. Heard mixed things about it but I don’t trust online reviews. When it releases on disk I’m going to buy it as well. 2 hours and 15 minutes is a long movie but I think I can sit that long.
