What are you doing right now?

Just sat down at a restaurant to eat at a state park we were driving thru. I don’t like trying new places. But since pops is paying I made sure to get one of the most expensive things on the menu. We could have been eating McDonald’s again which is what I wanted lol. I’ll never understand the appeal to American food. If we were near our Chinese restaurant that’s what I would want but we are in my work town. I’m really having withdrawals from Chinese it’s been over a week since I had any my insides are going crazy.
 
Eating my Chinese food and watching the Baltimore Orioles @ Philadelphia Phillies game. Go Orioles. I don’t care for the Phillies but they are better than the Yankees and Dodgers lol.
 
Watching the Toronto Blue Jays @ Los Angeles Dodgers game. Go Blue Jays. I don’t like the Dodgers lol. Blue Jays wearing their awesome light blue uniforms today.
 
Just chilling at work. Lots of talk of sports today. I never realized that more people like basketball over baseball lol. That’s crazy to me. But we all like different things. To me every sport except baseball is boring as heck. Lol. I enjoy talking sports because I can educate everyone about baseball lol. I’m called the baseball and tool nut at my shop. Waiting for 12pm so it can be lunch time.
 
Doing some drywall patches on some outlet sized holes plus some others. First time so I'm learning through trial and error, but I'm laid off...so I have the time. Cut up some yard stakes to attach the patches to but they are pretty hard and I couldn't hold them tight enough when trying to screw them in. Even with pliers holding on to the "hold" screw and it fell down the into the wall. Off to ACE and considered the metal mesh patch option, but ACE guy said you can see it so he recommended paint sticks as backing and gave me a couple.(y) Came home, got those put in with the help of a mini crowbar to apply backside pressure. I'd already cut the drywall rectangles, but when I put them in to screw down, I found I'd got the wrong thickness drywall...5/8 instead of 1/2 😐 (was cheap...$5 for a full damaged sheet). ACE has 16"x16"x1/2" drywall squares so I'll pick up a couple...sometime. Going to heat some leftover Barro's pizza for lunch right now and contemplate the afternoon's activities.
 
Watching the Oakland Athletics @ San Francisco Giants game. It’s 3-3 in the 6th right now. I’ve honestly liked San Francisco a lot more this year than years past but I do want Oakland to win because they are the team with the worst record in baseball this year but they play well just have had tough luck.

buying a car. if all goes well, i will drive about 450 kilometers to pick it up tomorrow. i had to shop at many places to get what i wanted and to have a deal that makes me happy. none of the dealers close to me were able to satisfy my demands. and yes another mazda. my 5th new mazda since 2016. 2023 mazda cx-5 signature in the new rhodium white color. lets just say this has scrapped my project to drive to Alaska in august.
