Looking for cars in NJ. Seller didn't yet get back to me about "The engine I want" (the rebuilt one in Bucks County PA with some go-fast parts) so.. my inside voice is saying.. "Look elsewhere." Kind of thinking I should have bought that Altima..
Candidates are an Infiniti I35 for $1800, and "this and cars like it" since its STILL cheaper to replace the engine.. although we haven't said WHEN that will take place. Gotta go to work, even if you park at the train station so. Just for those that might try that angle.
This one has high miles and might be a bomb so I'm not jumping at it.
If I do jump at another car.. the gentleman in Texas may have wanted the Subaru but "NJ to Texas." Just seeing what we got here. I like my car but there may be an interim option. Looking at listings now. (The Infiniti is likely a POS so there was a time I'd go to check it out.)

Setting her waiting for my MIL funeral at 1. Let's just say Lao funerals are way more intense than those in my family. I try to help but I have no idea what to do, main job is keeping the wife sane and take care of the boys. It'll mostly be over today and another deal Wednesday.. the other two will be in 100 days and year out so she's not worried on those.

No. Just no. Get a ride or walk to the bus. Get a bus pass. Getting another garbage hoopty to replace another busted hoopty is just idiotic. You were advised for the last few years to save for a replacement because failure was imminent. And it did fail, and you dumped thousands into a piece of junk that isn’t even in good condition. Instead of saving. M
Now you’re broke, no car, no ac, wasting time and money on dumb things.
Get a bus pass, figure out your schedule, and don’t spend a dime if it’s not uncooked groceries from the supermarket, or paying the electric or water bill.
No car for you until you have a written budget and enough saved to buy something worthwhile, which is probably $5k or more.

Chilling playing 8 ball pool on GamePigeon with my friends. The advantages of all having Apple phones lol. I really wish baseball was on. They are on the All Star break and Home Run Derby break. I’m ready for vacation next week. I’ll be in Pittsburgh Saturday seeing the Pirates play the Giants.
All Star game in Seattle tonight.

I’m sitting in my car eating lunch like usual. Wishing it was Friday lol. I met a local professional baseball coach today at work. I managed to get three free tickets for the Pulaski River Turtles baseball team game. My dealership owns the ball park and he was here getting work done to his car so I went and talked to him. So needless to say I’m happy.
