Watching a vid that the wife sent me of our dog being disgustingly cute. She doesn't really want anything when she does this other than you to acknowledge that she's there.

I was sitting in my car sipping my tea when a guy walked by with his two dogs. I wished him a happy fourth and we started talking current events etc.
He kept calling me sonny boy...
He kept talking about the golden days and to me it didn't add up as far as his life experiences.
So I respectfully asked him when he was born...turns out I was 2 years older than him and furnished my license to prove it.
... True story...
Then he moved onto talking about heart surgery his buddy may need and I told him I had it 8 years ago...he needed to see the scar... Geez...but it was all in good fun eh... Some days

Just chilling at the gas station. Probably going to the fair soon and do the quarter machine. Missed a bunch of baseball games today but I was with the family so that’s ok.

I just finished reading the mega thread of ‘HPL NO VII’. It was definitely a learning experience, and a bit of a mind-bleep’. 
Watching fireworks out the front window. about 1/4 mile away thru the woods and up a hill. Privateer setting them off I would say a good chunk of change worth.
