Just winding down for the day. It has been a busy weekend thus far. Just shy of 100 yearling calves and a couple dozen riders have shown up. They are doing sorting and team penning. Pretty neat to see this side of the coin. Lots of work done to prep for this weekend and lots of work to see it through.

Since we are on the subject of beer, I really love the taste of it, just not a fan of alcohol anymore. Gave up drinking close to 18 years ago. Drank a lot and often. Nothing good came from it. Stopped cold turkey but got back into it at the rate of maybe a beer per month and well I think I'm one per year at my current rate. Love 0% alcohol beer and still love a taste of scotch.

I’m still half asleep lol. I am just watching some YouTube and checking in here. A little angry to see my post from Friday in the beer thread is gone that didn’t break any rules so there is absolutely no reason for it to be removed. Other than that I’m ok just a bit angry at that.

Getting ready to go to Lowes for a cordless hedge trimmer. Craftsman 20 inch for $119.00 with 3 year warranty. This dragging out the extension cord multiple times a year has gotten old. Simple is good...

Lol. Heineken is nasty lol. But I’m willing to retry it. Definitely an acquired taste. I would rather drink Natural Light than Heineken and that’s saying something as I hate Natural Light lol.

Just got home spent the weekend in downtown NYC one block from Wall Street visiting my daughters. Did a wine tasting last night found a Groupon then went for pizza and beer. Today did brunch short walk to the seaport then a couple of beers at the bar that George Washington said his goodbyes to his men after the war. Drive home wasn't bad in the rain did it in one hour

Getting ready to go to lunch. While on lunch I’m going on the DMV website to pick out some plates for my new to me Camry. There are two or three I’m considering highly but anything I like is a possibility.

I’m still trying to pick out plates for my new car. Been on the DMV site for hours. Kinda torn between a few designs. Washington Nationals, Virginia Railway Heritage, Heritage State Bird which I have a few pairs of, USS Cole, East Carolina University which I have no tithes too but really like the pirate on it. And a few others like Lighthouses which I already have a pair of, Choose Life which I already have too. Virginia Tech Hokie Bird etc, Just a hard decision lol. I want the Nationals because I love baseball. I know I can always get one and switch it anytime. My dad said get regular ones to start then switch it after a few days or weeks. I just hate to be seen with regular ones and look cheap lol.

Finishing up my lunch break. It’s been hectic today. Unusually swamped for a Wednesday. Hopefully the afternoon calms down some. I think at the end of this day I’ll definitely need some beer lol. We have a couple people who have been ready to walk out the door today haha.

I’m eating lunch. Ready to go home to my registered car. Dad went today and registered it. I’m waiting on the plates to show up in the mail now. They don’t stock the Washington Nationals ones as they aren’t a huge seller so they gave us 30 day temporary paper plates to have till those come in. He hasn’t texted me with any issues so I’m guessing it all went smoothly. Last time they would not give us the plates we wanted so they better have this time.
