Or a Ford lolYou're close..
Standard and Metric, Metric is separated by Drive size.
I hate Standard so they all get grouped together and if I ever get a Chevy or something, then I use them. Otherwise, no..
I rather enjoyed doing the math this morning lol...Or a Ford loluse them all the time on both my Ford vehicles the 1994 has more Standard than it does metric. I hate metric so I prefer Standard.
LolI rather enjoyed doing the math this morning lol...
5/32ths, okay.
3/16??
Okay well...
3 x 2 = 6
16 x 2 = 32
So 6/32.
6/32 is greater than 5/32 so it is bigger...
All the way up.
You can modify an equation so long as you do the same thing to both sides!
And yet .. you prefer Standard.Lolno wonder I failed math (almost) lol
I don’t understand math or how it works
You can convert metric to standard by dividing by 25.4 or multiply by 0.03937! Dividing is a bit more accurate though. It’s great for when you’re missing a certain socket of whichever and you have one that’s close enough to work.Lolno wonder I failed math (almost) lol

Lol. I know most comparable sizes though like 5/16 is an 8mm and 5/8 is 16mm and 3/4 is 19mm and I know many more too that’s just some of them. You can convert metric to standard by dividing by 25.4 or multiply by 0.03937! Dividing is a bit more accurate though.
Ameri-Metric.You can convert metric to standard by dividing by 25.4 or multiply by 0.03937! Dividing is a bit more accurate though. It’s great for when you’re missing a certain socket of whichever and you have one that’s close enough to work.
Will a half inch socket fit 12mm? Or is that a little too big for 12/small for 13?You can convert metric to standard by dividing by 25.4 or multiply by 0.03937! Dividing is a bit more accurate though. It’s great for when you’re missing a certain socket of whichever and you have one that’s close enough to work.
No. 1/2 is slightly tighter fit than a 13 way to big for a 12.Will a half inch socket fit 12mm? Or is that a little too big for 12/small for 13?
I remember once I was able to hammer one on. In a pinch.. it sometimes works.
I used to write little up and down arrows on my sockets, it was supposed to tell me what would be slightly bigger than (up) and slightly smaller than (down) the next size, but then I realized it is like a piano.. A sharp is the same as B flat and it makes it so you just have to try it and see.
Cool so I would probably write "13" on a 1/2.. it will fit or turn it? (A 1/2" will fit a 13mm?) Because then a 1" could fit a 26mm..No. 1/2 is slightly tighter fit than a 13 way to big for a 12.
Looks like funCheck out my collection of J-B Welds.
