What are you doing right now?

Yup. Don't get me wrong, I have excellent customer service. But when they are being absolutely stupid, I won't cave in. Plus I know management will back me up. I can guarantee they enjoy their lunch break at their job. Also, this is literally my only chance to use the bathroom all day.

Should have seen how it was when customers started to turn cheap just before MSG got shut down.

For Billy Joel.. they supplied us with dimes and nickels.

(My personal prediction is that place is never re-opening, by the way. My co-workers seem to have figured this out. Maybe all but one...)

So, if anyone went to a BJ concert and bought sushi from Senzai Sushi on the 6th floor? I met you.

I feel:
1. Billy Joel sucks
2. MSG is an overrated and entirely too small and old venue, not really that good unless you're spending big money.. like, New Car money, usually.. for the Chase Lounge.. or Delta, whatever it was. 7th or 8th floor, basketball player with groupies or MC Hammer money and experience...
3. They did it to themselves and I find it funny they are shuttered
4. They are never opening back up
5. They will act like they are "about to" for some time
6. Jim Dolan will sell it to NYC and Penn Station will get the expansion it desperately needs.

Lol usually mine is cleaned out. This time they are sold out of conventional besides the 20W-50 so I’m sticking up now lol.

I don't even bother checking mine because.. if it's clearance, my town has descended upon it like the locusts on Pharaoh in Egypt and probably did so in a few hours.

Not even worth my time to go into there and look.

And we make house-branded product for that company. Go fig...

Just got back from my lunch break at work. Got yelled at by a customer because we have the audacity to close for a half hour on Saturday so the only person working in parts gets their state mandated 1/2 hour uninterrupted meal break. Now mind you there are signs posted and everyone that calls is told about the break. I make zero apologies to anyone that complains about it except to say "sorry you can't understand why we need a meal break."
Too bad you just can't tell them to go "fill in the blank" themselves. I'd just tell them life's not fair, get over it.

Today I was going through 16 crates of vinyl records. Time to sell most of the collection.

While I was doing that got a call from a friend. She put washer fluid into her coolant reservoir and then realized she put it in the wrong container (well her sister told her). She called me and asked what would happen by doing that. I said don't go anywhere leave the vehicle off. Brought the DeWalt shop vac and fluid extractor. Have a crevice tool with hose I macgivered. Got the fluid out of the reservoir in about 40 seconds. Refilled with distilled water and sucked that out too. Then refilled half way with distilled water and told her to keep and eye on the temps and to check the reservoir later tonight after she got home. Did my good deed for the day.

Aquariuscsm will buy them lol

These are all 12 inches, albums and singles. Lot of hip hop from 80s and R&B and dance music and older stuff from 70s like Commodores, ojays, other groups James Brown etc.

Oh nice!!!!!

Maybe you can pass your collection off to me 😉

Can you hold out until January 2021 and how much you want for it?

I would be honored to have a vinyl (sound like 33s) of Run DMC and many.. many others. lol

I got 4 others wanting to buy and then my 17 year old who never played a vinyl record in his life until today. Showed him how to put the tonearm over a track and play it.
He comes in and says what of I want some of these records. We played run DMC king of rock.

I sold 4 milk crates about 24 years ago to a guy that drove to Toronto from Montreal. He got most of the good hip hop then. Three is a few good ones left, the rest are so so in my opinion.

Border is closed you can't get in unfortunately.

I posted that pic online and in less than 24 hours had 4 guys that want to buy some. Need to list everything what a pain that is going to be!
Any Canadian 60s garage rock? Ugly Ducklings,Mother Tucker's Yellow Duck, etc?

Sorry no. Don't even know those bands. I have a about 60 rock albums that one guy wants. What are you guys paying for vinyl locally?

On the Toronto news, there are record stores in the city selling new vinyl for $30-60 bucks per single record. That's nuts!
