I’m just chilling. Walked the dog. It’s cold outside this morning. Supposed to start raining today and everyday till Thursday. Curious to see how the cheap $60 a piece tires that came on the RAV4 will do in the rain. Hopefully they will at least do ok. I want to replace them soon but I hate to throw away ok tires.
Trying to help the daughter with her laptop, it shuts down randomly. Only a year old, but was bought open box, so well out of warranty. Might just have to buy a new one and swap. Otherwise, slow start, trying to figure out what to do with the day. Technically its our wedding anniversary but we have no plans.
Leaving for Costco soon. Gives me a chance to experience waiting in line for gas like you old guys dealt with in the 70's.
Tell him that I say to keep up the good work.
Truckers keep the USA economy running and if they all shut down the country would grind to a halt within 48 hours.

Don't forget the odd and even days
Drying off--ran the sprinklers with air to blow them out ahead of winter. It gets dark early here, and managed to walk into the stream of water a few times. Oops. At least it's not cold yet. Took the week off, so spent a good deal of today raking leaves, now looking forward to doing nothing this evening.
Smoke testing my exhaustmanifold/turbo 1 piece for a leak. The car has exhaust coming in the vents from the engine bay. I have a good chunk of smoke come out what appears to be an exhaust port on the far passenger side. Could be a busted exhaust stud too. Car runs normal and zero pulsing/leak, just the exhaust smell. I am questioning the casted CAT as if it was a broken stud I should hear very easily a pulsing leak, and it is just not there. I am waiting for the exhaust to cool to go under and see if it could also be a cracked casted CAT downpipe.
If it's a Windows 10 or 11 machine, open a DOS command window as Admin and run sfc /scannow and chkdsk /scan.

Getting ready for a funeral. My wife's Aunt, who we lived with and took care of for a few years until earlier this year, died suddenly last Sunday. We knew she didn't have too long to live, and was on hospice, but wasn't expected to die right away. Blood clot lead to cardiac arrest.
