What are you doing right now?

I bought a LG 27" 1440p OLED computer monitor. It really needs to be a 4K monitor because of the text. Looking at pics the images look kinda crappy using my Mac but appear awesome on my Windows PC. I know there are color profiles and different display technologies regarding subpixel structures and font quality. Wish I bought a Samsung OLED instead.

I’m watching Hey Arnold The Movie on DVD. I couldn’t decide what to watch so I picked out 5 and asked Google to pick a number between 1 and 5 and it picked one which was this one.

Convincing myself to head towards bed and make sure I turn out the light early. I've been waking up around dawn but with the days getting shorter means that's been closer to 7--but have to run the daughter to a college visit tomorrow which means getting up by 6, hitting the road by 6:30, for a nearly 3 hour drive. Fun.

Sawed up a tree that blew down, or I should say, cut up some of it, as I realized that it was easier to cut when it was not so close to the ground--my back was having none of it. Then mowed the yard for over 3 hours; the leaves are falling so I had to empty the mower like 20 times if not more. But that means that much less raking.

I’m just chilling. Mad as heck that the Yankees are going to the World Series. I hate the Yankees lol. Mets better go or I might not be able to root for any team if the Dodgers go lol.

I told you dude! Look back in this or the TV thread I think

Our power cycled in and out 4 times last night. No surge protectors indicated or blown, PC's shut down logically. But sheesh this storm is crazy. I think we are headed for 3-4 inches of rain in the storm (yes nothing compared to the hurricanes)

Waiting for dinner. Just got back from our trip to the college; nice place. I didn't ask for the tuition price--"if you have to ask..."

Nice day for a drive, although the leaves are half down it seems.

I have an appointment to get my stitches removed this morning and am going back to work tomorrow. The patient coordinator suggested I take more time off before going back to work and not to lift anything heavier than a gallon of milk.

Go Dodgers!!

Hahahaha - which year was the best series ever between them?
This is their 12th time meeting in the World Series. As far as World Series go I’d have to say when they met and Jackie Robinson was on the team even though the Dodgers got beat those times. They haven’t met in my lifetime so this will be the first World Series between them. First since 1981. They have only had two of those series last 7 games.

Allergies are draining me right now, so waiting for a break so I go back to lawn work.

Anniversary today. Not sure what to do. I think the wife wants to go out for dinner, and I was open to the idea earlier this week, but now… I’d rather stay home. Save the money. Heck I’d rather try my hand at cooking rather than going out.

Allergies this fall have been fair brutal this side of the continent as well. Anniversaries and such are stressors for me. My wife has lowered her expectations over 40 years, but does say things like...."dinner out again?". Sorry!
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

I filed and organized the last of keepable "paper" this AM. The stack while way way smaller in 2024, still was growing. A few things cannot be found online, or change, etc with time. The days of keeping every shred are long gone. That said....my 2003 owner's manual for the Stihl whacker keep, receipt for any PM purchase - keep, etc..........so of course once in the storage totes leads to chucking all the paper on stuff we don't have anymore and such, which leads to DUST....and allergies

Going to prune low limbs from this tree with these tools. No power cutting today.
