What adhesive to use?

What adhesive should I use to reattach the "Vib" emblem that fell off my Vibe this afternoon while washing the vehicle? It will be reglued directly to the paint.

I just got some exterior grade double sided tape made by Scotch and trimmed it up with an x-acto knife when the Chrysler emblem came off my old Lebaron convertible. Worked great and couldn't tell the difference.

That's the correct way. Actually, the OEM double sided tape is made by 3M and you can buy small rolls of it at auto parts stores. Don't use crazy glue, it won't last in the rain.

Don't forget to clean all surfaces, it matters. I use rubbing alcohol. Let it dry thoroughly.

3m also makes clear emblem adhesive that works well. I know az has it for like 6 bucks
