what 2 cycle oil is best?

I recently have been doing experiments on my 2 cycle equipment, to find out which oil has worked the best, and so far, it is echo oil.

the two I am interested in besides that, is mobil 1 2cycle oil, and amsoil 2 cycle. I am not sure of the flashpoint of the echo, but I know that that mobil flashes at 110C and the amsoil at 114C. I assume that the oil with the lowest flash point would let the engine run cooler, and combust more completely.

does anyone know the flashpoint of echo oil?

Which Amsoil 2 Cycle product were you thinking of? There are currently 5 different formulas.

Flashpoint menas nothing and as only measured for transportation purposes.

Blano's right, Flashpoint is for transportation purposes only and has very little to do with the oils ability to do it's job of lubricating your engine.

Mobil 1 racing 2T is the only oil I've ever used that allowed my two-cycle engines to idle at a higher rpm with only a change of the oil. I also noticed cleaner burning, and faster engine response. Never have I seen this before with just a oil change. I sold my stock of Amsoil Saber on Ebay and laid in a lifetime supply of Mobil 1!
