I see Penrite have a 40W70 (Penrite HPR 50). VI 116, Flash 206C, Viscosity at 40C 409, at 100C 32.9, Cold Cranking Viscosity, cP at -5C 10,650. How will the 0/5W30 lovers get their heads around this one??
I used that goop in an LJ with a worked 186 at one stage. Oil pressure took days to come up at 6:00AM in Canberra's winter. But once it was up, it was pegged at the right end of the scale.
Dropped it real quick, and went back to my standard (for those days) XLD and STP mix (STP are also selling a 35W-70 I believe).
Hell, I don't ever see myself running 20W-50 again, let alone stuff that thick.
