Went all out on LC20, FP60, and ARX

Well, after seeing so many positive reviews of the products, I decided to get a gallon each of LC20 and FP60. I also bought a bottle of ARX.

It'll be going in my '02 Honda Civic EX with a little under 40K miles.

I would be inclined to start of with the two Lubecontrol products and hold off on the AutoRX for the time being as you're only at 40K miles.

ARX can make a clean engine cleaner. I'm going to hit my 4Runner at 30k miles.

The ARX may just end up being for my own peace of mind. I've read posts on odd things happening while going through the cleaning and rinsing phase. What should I be expecting?

Side question: Anyone know if it's possible to change out my oil filter without changing my oil?

Odd things? Dunno. Change the filter, yes, but some oil will leak out so get your drain pan under it. Pour some oil in the new filter before installing, start the engine, check for leaks, shut if off, wait a few minutes and top off the oil the the correct level.

I changed out my oil filter today. Now it's time to wait until the ARX comes in.

Anyone know how long it takes for it normally ship with their free shipping?

ARX took a while to arrive [ 10 days? ], they used professional shipping agents who pack it well but look for best shipping rate.

LC20/FP60 arrived quickly.

I think that both companies make great products and I'm pleased with the results.

The ARX made the 2.2 l engine in our 1996 Corsica quiet right down and run better.

ARX also worked well in our 86 BMW 5 speed and diff ...I ran it for a 1000 miles before draining the Redline and refilling. Shifting improved quickly, so ARX must have cleaned up something.

LC20/FP60 seems to improve all of our the other engines also. Thgey all seem to run a little smoother and stronger.

I won't know if I can extend OCI's past 7K or 10K until the UOA's.

Finally received my ARX today! It arrived here exactly a week after I ordered it.

LC20/FP60 only took about 2 days after I ordered before it arrived since it was shipped in-state.

FP60 went into my tank last Thursday, and I added the ARX today. Hope everything goes well!

At the rate I drive, I'll probably finish my cleaning phase in about one and a half month. For the whole ARX cycle, I'm estimating about four or five months to complete it.
