Weathertech Digital Floor Liners

I need a set of all-weather floor mats or liners for the Altima since it has a very, very light blond-colored interior.

From the pictures, the Weathertech Digital Floor Liners appear to be of a very high quality. The reviews of them are also very positive. However, a front and rear set costs $169.00.

Does anyone know anything about them?

I've got the floor liners in my 2005 Accord and I have their floor mats in my 2005 Highlander.

There are pros and cons to both.

The mats are thicker and give a little nicer look to the interior, overall.

The liners are made of a thin material and, while I don't believe they look quite as nice as the mats, they do provide more coverage of the carpeted areas of the floor.

For instance, in my previous cars, there often was dirt on the carpet around the "dead pedal," the throttle, and on the carpeting along the inside edges between the front seats and the bottom door sills.

The floor liners negate much of that problem. I also find the floor liners easier to clean. With the mats, I've had to use a scrub brush followed by a toothbrush or detailing brush to ensure all of the dirt has been removed from the grooves in the mats.

Overall, I've had solid success with Weathertech products, including their mats, trunk liners, cargo liners, and now, floor liners. To me, they've been worth the money.

Conversely, I tried some Ford "all-weather" mats in my company car ('07 Exploder). I should have gone with the Weathertechs.

I have these in my Aura and they are great! They cover the entire floor area and catch the slush and slow that people would carry in on their shoes (When I was in Pittsburgh). The carpet looks brand new underneath!

A great investment and a must have for muddy/snowy areas and light colored interiors.

Best floor liner on the market and well worth every penny! I have only had one vehicle where they did not fit perfectly( 08 Equinox ). For some reason their mold was off and they did not fit that vehicle well at all. Any other vehicle I have got them for they have fit perfect.

I use them in all of my trucks and will use nothing else now. Far better than the Husky Liners I used to use. Carpeted mats are just not a good idea here. Too much snow and slush in the winter and mud in the spring. Carpeted mats are ruined here in just months.

The ONLY issue with them is you can get some leakage around the opening where the floor mat hook pokes through. There is not a lot you can do about it really short of having some kind of cover for the hole. IF you have a lot of snow and slush, or wet gooey mud, on your feet when you get in you can end up having some leak down through that hole around the hook. Just kick your feet off when getting in and it should be no problem.

I just make sure I take the liner out 2-3 times during the winter/spring to clean up any crud that leaked through. I use a shop vac which sucks up any water and/or dirt & mud thhat got through. I then run the heat for a short bit to dry everything if needed.

When I get a new vehicle the FIRST thing I do now is get my Weathertech liner set. I put the OE carpet mats in the boxes and save them. When I sell the vehicle I remove the Weathertech's( sell on E-Bay for at least 50% of new )and put the OE carpeted mats back in. The Weathertech's do such a great job the carpet underneath looks as new as the floor mats. Really helps with value at sale when the interior looks brand new.

I went ahead and ordered a set from autogeek. They were $159.99 shipped, which is $28 than purchasing them from Weathertech directly.

Unfortunately the mats will not be here for at least another 10 days, as they supposedly have some kind of "backlog" right now.

Those are really nice! I'd like to have a set for my F-150.


Funny that when rubber floor liners were common we covered them with carpet. Now that carpet is common we cover them with rubber!

I have a set of the Weathertech liners in my 2004 Silverado.

They are pricey, but they are worth every penny that I paid for them.

Mine fit every bit as nice as what you see in NH Hemi's pictures.

So, I placed the order on 1/4/2010 and I still have not received a tracking number.

Autogeek, the vendor I placed the order through, said that there's a minimum 2 week wait time for floor liners from Weathertech.

The car is currently parked until the mats come in, so I'm starting to get very irritated.

I'll soon be getting some of these for my vehicle as well. I'm glad they have a Canadian website as well (and I can order from there and not have to pay duty and exchange on the dollar etc.)

That being said, they appear to be a bona fide American company - nice to have something not made 7000miles away.

Speaking of these mats, the place I get my car rustproofed sells them as well. I have a tan interior. Their detailer recommended black mats, telling me they're easier to clean, and won't show scuff marks from black soled shoes, which are apparently a pain to remove. Not sure if I like the black on tan look or not.

Any opinions on whether the black on tan would look too goofy?

just a heads up, a lot of the Ford accessory floormats are going on backorder or being listed at obsolete, even for 2010 model years. the vendor went belly up, so weathertech probably has to fill orders from sources they wouldnt normally sell to.

EDIT: i know he does not have a Ford, just saying that Weathertech might experience "unanticipated demand."
