Waymo goes through police standoff.

My gripe is IF and thats a big if they do become safer than humans driving the insurance companies will come for your drivers license. Tesla and others claim they're safer but I just don't see it when they release the accident rates.
There's no way that happens.

You can't even get a legislature to add slightly more restrictive license scrutiny for 90 year olds with licenses.
 
In San Francisco, I have encountered so many Waymos in congested traffic. The software tweaks ovee the past few months are easily apparent. When cars "block the box" Waymos now aggressively whip around them. Just like human drivers. LOL.
I use Waymo regularly here in LA, and I have also noticed they have become less passive. I actually love riding in them, music cranked up, windows down, and a smooth drive. I just wish they cleaned them more often.
