Waxoyl for wheelwells?

hi all, iv currently got hammerite waxoyl which iv used user the car pic below

but it seems to be too soft to use in the wheelwells. is there some other product thats available that suitable for wheel well usage? got to hold up to water splashes and stone chips.
i could use upol gravitex but was looking for a wax type of product this time.

I cannot see any wax product lasting long term in wheel wells without some attention, Waxoyl Hardwax and similar will be OK but will need touchups. That said, it would do the job of protecting, etc. as long as it is maintained.

The Waxoyl you have above appears as it is the thinner bodied one for internal or protected applications and is not suitable for wheel wells. You want Waxoyl Hardwax Plus or Hardwax 21.

You went with one of the worst choices for the job. It’s a bitumen product, meaning it’s like a black tar, which will eventually crack and trap moisture underneath. It will look great though for a while.

It should be ok since the car is fairly new and has no rust in the wheel wells.

Also noticed this product

Looks like they do a thicker waxoyl product for wheel wells etc may get this one for my old celica

If there is any other suggestions for products it would be appreciated.
I had first cleaned the wheel wells one spot had some rust so used wire wheel then rust remover and then some rust converter. After that applied zinc phosphate primer and then top coat was silver zinc spray paint from aerosol can.
After that applied the upol gravitex stone chip but it's been a few years and I noticed the stone chip had cracked and was flaking off hence why this time I want to go with a bitumen based product which is more flexible and has better adhesion.
Noxudol 900 and 1600 seems good too but not sure which option is best for long term

I used truck bed liner spray on the metal inner lips on my pickups fenders around the wheel wells. It has fabric type inner fender liners so I just needed to protect the metal fender lip.
Lots of sand and salt on my winter roads for months at a time and the paint on the fender lips gets sand blasted off by road spray.
Tons of vehicles in my area with rusted fender edges.

The front wheels have the plastic liners in them but the rears are bare.
Does lanolin coatings like lanoguard wash off with pressure washer?

The butimen product will likely do the same, crack and flake off. I would recommend using a wax product, even if it's thinner and touch up before every winter. Once you accumulate a few layers, it will hold up fine for years.

ok will see how the existing waxoyl i have holds up and inspect it. iv got loads of it left since i got it on special offer.
