I've been using meg's Ultimate Waterless Wash & Wax for some years now as my go-to for a HD quick detailer/shine as well as for cleaning my bikes. Looking for the latest and greatest options out there for my summer car as it only sees a couple tanks of gas per year and usually just needs "dusted off" more than washed with the occasional bird dropping to clean up. Are the new ceramic quick detailers any better than my old UWW&W?

ONR has always worked great for me but I'd like something that leaves at some SOMETHING of a wax finish behind.

The only Lucas product I use,

I’m more partial to rinse-less wash like ONR than I am waterless in general. But honestly keep using Meguiars waterless wash and wax. It’s a good one for sure. If I had to use only one it would probably be that one. Carpro Echo 2, P&S waterless wash, and ADS Adapt are all good ones as well.

Well I picked up some Turtle ceramic on my last Menards trip so we'll see how it compares to megs UWW&W. I do like the megs a good bit and have found it much superior to other bike-specific products on my mountain bikes.... But I haven't used it much on cars TBH

Gotcha. I would stick with ONR for your regular washing routine for your vehicle then. Afterwards you can hit the paint with a gloss enhancing/protection product such as Turtle wax Ceramic. I use rinse-less exclusively. Haven’t used soap for a long time! I do rinse the vehicle first of course. I “top” my paint with P&S paint gloss or if I want some protection DIY ceramic gloss, megs D156, and SPS Graphene detail spray are good ones.

Use ONR and then use their Opti-Seal that doubles as a drying aid when you dry off the car with your drying towel. Just a couple of spritzes per panel as you go along. No extra work.

I buy either McKees N-914 or Adams Hoseless Wash and dilute them into rinseless or waterless wash, detail spray, drying aid, or clay lube depending on the ratio needed. Both products are multipurpose concentrates.
