What's the difference?!

Have been looking in to a new product lately by Meguiars, but just a tad confused.

What is the difference between Meg's Ultimate Wash & Wax anywhere and Meg's Ultimate Quick Detailer?

Meg's detailer says it's used to remove fingerprints or bird droppings between washing...When exactly do you use the detailer spray? Can it be used on a slightly dirty car (like after a rain) that was clean previously? This also seems like a good time to use the W&W Anywhere....I dont actually like the concept of waterless wash..but I live in an apartment now so it's becoming more intriguing.

So when should I use a quick detail spray? Or should I just use the new Megs W&W anywhere?

Yes the quick detailer is to be used after a light rain, with a clay bar, or if the car has been washed and doesn't feel gritty on the surface. Don't use it with a really dirty vehicle as that is what car wash is for.

Use a detail spray immediately after a wash, between waxing.

Ult. Wash & Wax is a waterless wash for LIGHTLY soiled painted surfaces. Proper wiping technique should be used for even lightly soiled vehicles to help prevent wash-induced marring. (And note, wash-induced marring is certainly a big concern when speaking of using any media to remove dirt from a painted surface, so I'm not picking on waterless washes here.)

Slightly dirty is very subjective... but in my opinion, using UW&W after driving through rain or driving on wet streets after a rain to be fine (say the day or two after you did a traditional wash and as long as their is not heavy buildup of mud, grime, what have you.)

A Quick Detailer can be used in many fashions but I choose to use it as: A.) a drying aid B.) a final wipe after LSP application/ short-term, gloss enhancer C.) clay bar lube

I do NOT use QDs as a washing alternative... although some manufacturers provide one detailing chemical that have many various dilution ratios to achieve this.. (HD Touch, ONR, etc...)

I used UWWA a few times when I had my mustang. Surprisingly effective on road grime, but if you have caked on mud/whatever id use a full wash.

Works awesome for bicycles and motorcycles, though!
