I bought a large spray bottle of the Meg’s Quick Wax Spray which would seem to make a decent hoper gif ceramic applications of used on its own . Any user experiences to share good or bad as well as tips ? I like that it can essentially be used anywhere on a vehicle including trim and glass .

This is the best spray LSP I've ever used. Also use it on the windshield as well. Has 6 months or so of durability.

I started using Meguiars Ultimate Liquid Wax and their Gold Class High Gloss Premium Quik Detailer on my new Corolla Cross Hybrid.

I am very happy with both results and ease of use.

Durability...TBD.

I have a gallon of Megs Xpress wax which is essentially the bulk version of Megs Ultimate quick wax. It works pretty good, even in direct sunlight which is one of its main features. Smells good too. I find the ultimate line is better than the red maroon bottles. But their quick detailer in the maroon bottle is amazingly easy to use. I’ve been using DIY ceramic gloss that stuff is the bees knees.

I use the Griots version but have also used Meguiars. Do it after every other machine wash. All cars look like new years later. I don’t use other waxes anymore, although I have a buffer and different products for occasional damage that happens in the ordinary course.

I should have clarified it is the Meg’s Ultimate Quik Wax in the 24 oz. black bottle I am referring to . I did not know there was a cheaper one in a maroon bottle .

I've gone through a couple bottles of it and find it works well for the amount of effort it takes. I even use it on the side and rear windows after cleaning.

I find the black bottle of Ultimate Quik Wax to be less hydrophobic than the other Detailer version that Meguiars offers (D156).

Other than that... they seem similar in looks/ ease of application.

To combat streaking, I will use a damp microfiber. I will wring it out as best as I can. It seems to spread whatever product you are using much better...especially at the beginning.

I do not like this stuff at all. Streaking on black. More work than it's worth. I would just put a coat of real wax on it and be done.
I have a full bottle and just tried to use it the other day and like all Meguire products come in a junk spray bottle that does not work and leaks all over the place.
I will not spend another penny on Meg crap products any longer. No help from their hotline folks either.

Their spray bottles are terrible

I'm a fan of the Ultimate in black bottle. Good for maintaining the base layer wax and I particularly like it for detailing the door jambs, nooks and crannies, even under hood and trunk on painted surfaces after wiping down after a wash.
