Is both awesome and lame.

There was a laundry center on the other side of the wall - so it had hot and cold service I just had to flip them 180 to get to the bibs vent and drain to the garage, but it was there.

Absolutely everything was compromised on the sink height to get the faucet where it is so I've got to figure out if and even how to hide the plumbing. Because the drain was up on the wall I had to use a drain pump for about a foot and a half of lift. The basic zoeller sink drain is a nice kit and pretty powerful.

T tapped the cold to the garage fridge now I have another ice maker, water station outside

It's awesome having a sink in the garage big enough for parts, a dog and of course washing up before going in.

45 trips to the store later its all there.

Very nice........! I love that

So sink drain is below "grade" ? (in garage area?)
It's actually above the sink so i have to pump it up. Drain is white pvc on right just above sink.

Yeah that's what I mean in a way. I was thinking (always dangerous) of other ways to tie into the sewer line sans pumping.

I see the white drain, but what is under that floor where steps come down from

Air and 2x4's.

Ha sorry for the 1000 questions.

Just trying to get my mind around your sanitary sewer pipes from a single picture. hahahaha

Anyway I love love love that sink!!

No problem at all, I figure part of the the value of these posts is to see what poeple encounter as challenges and how they might overcome them.

In sharing we broaden all our knowledge.

I was only tertiarily familiar with a sink pump before this project.

I heard a saw going yesterday afternoon and, it turns out Mrs. UD built this over sink storage out of some old 2x10's.

The woman is handy.
