Water pump leaking? 98 lesabre pics

Well,hours ago,I installed a new ac Delco alternator. Removed the tensioner pulley,too across bottom bolt. I noted,under car,looked like water,under oil filter. It was hard too tell,if it was actually water,or coolant mighta smelled like it,but my hands dirty from alternator...i dunno.no visible leaks from water pump housing.The hose these engines notorious for,plastic is not broken. I had new water pump installed 4 years ago. About 30,000 miles on it.
Under car,Thier is,tiny amount of green coolant dripping from bottom of oil filter ran my car a bit ,under car,no more drive a good 1-3 miles,3 times,no more leaks.
So...think it's a warning? Water pump outlet hole..gasket failing?

Old alternator says Delco Remy on it.thinks that's factory.not sure. Has 149,217 miles on it,as far as I know.
Went shopping 20 minutes.looked under oil filter.nothing.dry...

Might want to pick up a loan-a-tool pressure tester & pump the system up, I bet the leak will be obvious.

Excellent suggestion. The set from Advance Auto confirmed a leak I knew about and found one I never would have noticed. It also had an adapter for checking the pressure cap, which was bad as well.

Coolant goes through the belt tensioner on those engines with coolant elbows that leak.. Also lower intake manifolds like to leak.

I contacted my mechanic via text he only answers if your a customer calling,on phone part,otherwise it's off.mailbox not set up answer.i call him tomorrow.
I ut a knew tensioner on myself,4 years ago,AutoZone stuff.he saw it months ago,asking who put it on ..because it's black n beat up looking now.
I'm planning,too have new tensioner and water pump done anyways. Wanna try dorman tensioner body...but def ac Delco gold water pump.i like how the dorman one looks,tensioner body.

Get the AC Delco GM Original Equipment water pump.

Not the Gold, the OEM

Consider also using OE for the other parts as well, the belt, the tensioner, etc. Rock Auto has all the OE parts at a fair price.
