My Dad remembers their 50's 2T lawn boy with plain bearings, it ran 30 weight motor oil at 16:1 or something like that... Just remember to shake the gas can well before you fill up! I bet lots of modern 2t low hp/L OPE would run for years on a similar mix now, I would think roller bearings would tolerate less that perfect oil mixes better than plain bearings?

If you're doing an oil change every week or have a fleet of sorts, I can see how a bottle drain system would be helpful.
