I leave behind no more than 3-6 oz after drain and filter. Capacity is 6 quarts and it always takes 6 fresh quarts.

If I didn't change the filter, than it would be 16-20 oz left behind....barely more than 1/2 qt.

The only way to tell what effect mixing oils does to your engine vs. a homogeneous mix of a single oil is to be miniaturized inside your engine watching the chemistry perform at the molecular level (like Raquel in Fantastic Voyage). Just because your engine sounds the same, has little bearing what's going on with the actual chemistry, acid neutralization, tribofilm production or destruction, oil film boundaries, etc.
