Can you order from Amazon.com in Canada? ... if so, you can buy the PureONE there.

I use the OEM 90915-YZZD3 on my Tacoma. Seems like a decent sized filter IMO. The price isn't bad ... can get them for about $5 each if you buy 3+ at a time at most of the Toyota dealers. At least Toyota's filters are not made by Fram ... yet.

SuperBusa, thanks for providing that info, so am i reading this correct that WIX's Absolute Micron Rating is 25!

if that is the case then it filters better than the Baldwin I was looking at because it Absolute Micron Rating is 40.

Although Nominal is better than WIX.

The reason I do not like Amazon, because after paying S&P and taxes it is just not cost effective.

Do you have a I-4 or a V-6 Tacoca. And what year. Is the D3 just a longer D1?

I agree that "Pureone" is a very good choice. The WIX are well built but the filter media is not that impressive on many of their filters:

Fram Extra Guard PH5 Fram

ADBV material: Nitrile
Filter area: 183 sq/in
Average pore size: 32.5 µm
Smallest pore size: 14 µm

WIX 51086

Filter area: 185 sq/in
ADBV material: Silicon
Average pore size: 35 µm
Smallest pore size: 16 µm

Fram Tough Guard TG5

ADBV material: Silicon
Filter area: 274 sq/in
Average pore size: 26 µm
Smallest pore size: 12 µm

Purolator PureOne PL34631

ADBV material: Silicon
Filter area: 330 sq/in
Average pore size: 24 µm
Smallest pore size: 11 µm

Fram Toughguard TG3593A 99% Multipass Efficiency at 20 microns

Amsoil 98.7% Multipass Efficiency at 15 microns

WIX 51334 50% multipass efficiency at 22 microns and 95% multipass efficiency at 40 microns

Went to the dealer today and picked up a yzzd3 instead of the stock yzzd1. It is about 2 inches longer. The parts person seemed knowledgeable, she stated the relief valve was rated the same in the two filters. So indeed the D3 seems to be just a longer D1. Hope so, one is going on the Tacoma at 15K. Hope it isn't tooooooo long.

Sorry for the late reply ... I see you already got the filters. My truck is a 2005 Tacoma with the V6. Yes, the D3 is just a longer version of the D1. Always go big if ya can.

after much thinking and researching....i am either gonna buy Donaldson P550078 or Baldwin BT353

I know Baldwin has cellulose + synthetic media, but it has the most surface area...

I am sure Donaldson's filter media must be outstanding, I do not know what it is...certainly it is not SYNTEQ....but the filter is the second most longest...

anyway both are heavy duty filters...should easily last me 12K miles...
