it has first post WWII V12 made by German company. Basically, two I6 engines with two ECU’s etc. and manual!

IDK I still consider them beautiful. IMO, their design is still current. But, that is subjective.I considered these one of the prettiest cars ever made when they were new, but I don't think they have aged that well.

I think the front overhang is too long and the rear taillights too large. But, yes, I wouldn't kick it out of bed!IDK I still consider them beautiful. IMO, their design is still current. But, that is subjective.

You basically have two engines inside and no space to work. They didn't make many, and I think it was Tyler Hoover that had one and said it always needed something. They are apparently really finicky to keep running but when they do they are a hoot.
You want a V12, you're going to have some overhang.I think the front overhang is too long and the rear taillights too large.
Only 255 CSI’s were made for the US. Good ones are going well above $100,000 and they will just keep going up in value. An 8 series (840, V-8, auto) saved my friend’s life.
He was stopped on a city street near San Francisco. An SUV driver behind him had a stroke/medical event and did not stop.
He rear-ended the 840 at approximately 60MPH in an oblique impact and vaulted the car over the Jersey Barrier into oncoming traffic.
The 840 was hit head on by a couple of cars in opposite direction traffic, and then hit broadside by a pickup truck that spun it around and pinned it into a light pole.
When the firefighters cut him out of what was left of the BMW, my friend was unharmed.
Always been impressed by that car and yes, I considered getting a V-12 manual. But they’re rare.
And not as quick as the twin turbo V-12 made by Mercedes.
I think the 850 is still a great looking car. Knowing how well it is made makes it look even better.
Funny, I'm with you on manuals except for this and the 928..... Something about them; too big to be sports cars and shifting somehow would disturb the atmosphere as you travel at a very quick but peaceful paceLove this. All Euros should be coupes. All Euro coupes should be V12’s. And all Euro coupe V12’s should be manual.
Wow. Didn't know so few. I had a teammate receive one as a signing bonus. Too bad he got rid of it.Only 255 CSI’s were made for the US. Good ones are going well above $100,000 and they will just keep going up in value.
