Walmart out of filters?

My local Walmart has been out of many filters for the past 2 months. The auto center guy its been a problem. This is in Chico California. Anybody else have this problem.

First Brands/FRAM/Champion Labs is out of business. When the current stock of FRAM and Super Tech filters are gone, that's it. Walmart will have to find another supplier for their Super Tech filters.There are plenty of threads on this matter. You should also see a diminishing stock of Trico and Anco wiper blades in other parts stores.

LOL Yep my wamart auto section looks worse than that these days you can sure see what filters were in demand. And to top it off no valvoline restore and protect 5w30 for 5 plus weeks. Also noticed quaker state ultimate protection oil seems to be gone now.

The next time I go to Walmart l will take a picture of the oil filter section, The only filters available in my Walmart are Mobil 1 oil filters.

I use to buy Super tech 6607 filters and stock up.

Okay. As a follow up I knew first brands was filing bankruptcy. I thought Champ labs for Supertech was a separate company. I was aware that Fram had Champ making some filters if I recall correctly. I was curious what would happen but was surprised at the shelf today. Dont hate the playa.....hate the game. Make Filters Great Again!!! MFGA!!!!!

With this filter situation oil bundles at auto parts store may make pretty good sense for those with undemanding needs/applications. If you were a Supertech oil and filter combo type why make two stops/purchases for about the same things around the same price. Just grab a store bundle for around $30 and carry on.

It is moot now but supposedly the Endurance filters were pulled from Walmarts that had shrinkage issues and replaced with the Purolator Golds and left the Endurance filters in the stores that had less shrinkage.

I saw this coming and stocked up on Fram filters at the Advance Auto Parts closeout sale. I'm good for a few years.
