More like a "stereotypist" since that group is made up of many different races.

So what/ Most of things on your vehicle and inside your house are foreign made.

Not exactly the same, but the Canadian Tire Store I work for just increased the shelf space dedicated to K&N oil filters.

K&N seems to be making a real push to get their products back front and center, and seen as relevant. On the packages for the new oil filters, it mentions that new cars often call for long oil change intervals, an that their stronger construction helps with that.

Walmart in deer park Texas is stocking a ton of K&N air filters. Purolators are not being phased out, rather it looks like they are downsizing cabin air filter and some motor oil space.

I have never used any KN product and I am sure they work fine but aren't they just a Champion Lab filter with an increased price?
I don't see this being a big seller

I hadn't realized until recently that K&N oil filters were made outside of the USA. I thought they were manufactured here.

I'm in NW NJ. What is it, some unwritten rule that oil and filters are not clearance priced in NJ

. I've seen old dusty bottles of Pennzoil SG rated oil in a Kmart at full price.

Don't believe they are still made by Chumpion.

When Champion built them, they were pretty good filters somewhere between an AC Delco and a M1 with the easy remove nut on the end.

on our trip we stopped at Walmart. This was in a small town of 5K. Not a Supercenter. They has the KN section. I was very surprised!

I was just in Walmart last night and sure enough, they had a ton ok K&N filters. I looked at the HP-1004 (for my Kia and wife and daughters Hyundais') and the wanted $15 and change for it! No thanks.....

Is funny that their cheap version is $8 while the HP which just adds a nut at the top for easy removal is $15
