Walmart oil prices - Ah!

Still cheaper than a parts store by a bunch.
Parts store is now $5x.xx so yeas

Autozone is clearing out 3 gallon boxes of 15w40 Delo for $24. If you didnt buy a junker direct injection 4 banger you will be fine. Nothing to see here.

I will have to spend $3500 to replace my old dodge v8 front end so I can use that.

so unless this last 2 plus years, I’m good.

it should last 9 months to 1.6 years for that massive GtL plant to return to normal. And the jet fuel/diesel market should return to normal too within 9 months. When refiners (Korean, cuz that's where something like 15% of the world's Group 3 basestock originates) start making less money from jet fuel and diesel, they'll go back to more base stocks.

After that, oil prices might actually crash as it looks like Iranian oil won't have sanctions anymore.

Why do I want to scoop up this deal!? This is dumb. I'm actively moving away from 15w40 and switching to Xw40 year round, plus have YEARS of stock on hand already.

Another thing to mention, at least local WMs around here have higher in store prices compared to what I see on their website. There is small print next to the price indicating it's valid for online purchases only, and from personal experience store prices are higher.

JUST GOING BY THE SHELF TAGS....... DIDNT TAKE PHONE IN STORE......... website still normal prices
I'll vouch for that. I was just at WM for other stuff. All Restore and Protect was $35.97 on shelf but still $29.97 for online order and pickup or free delivery. I ordered online for in store pickup. I already had it in my shopping cart and brought it to the curbside area. They looked quick, found my order, filled it from my cart and put it back in cart. Associate followed me out to my car with it.

I tried customer service and nope they won't price match on line even though I can order for delivery or pickup, really? You know what Forest Gump said.

I couldnt resist myself. Delo is an excellent oil. I'm going to have to start thinking how my kids will inherit my stash. Maybe i'll start buying a few old retired salt mines.

You're in the U.S, don't complain. Even when our oils North of the border are on sale, after taxes and FX exchanges, your guys' oil prices are still cheaper.

Don't blame Valvoline, Mobil etc for the increase in prices. They're only hedging against the politicians.
