Cool, 2 or 3 threads in one.

I agree with most of your recommendations - vitamin C at 6 grams per day might be a bit extreme.

No, 6000 milligrams a day is recommended by Doctor Weil in his book. He is renowned around the world for his expertise on the subject of natural healing. The B and C vitamins are water soluble and need to be replenished daily. If you have bad habits like drinking or smoking you need more.

I used to take up to 10,000 milligrams of vitamin C a day. I've taken as much as 30,000 a day. They have cured cancer with intravekous injections of vitamin C at 100,000 milligrams a day in addition to other remedies I'm sure.

Anything you don't use just gets [censored] out so you have to go NUTS to see any side effects from Vitamin C or the B Vitamins. The only side effect you will see from too much Vitamin C is you'll start running to the john. that's when you back off.

this is not in reference to the Mobile 1 recall rumor.

I know some walmart products are not exactly what they seem to be, for example pioneer head units may say pioneer on the front but have different guts if compared to a like model purchased from best buy for example.

is that the same with the oil? I just bought a 5 qt jug of mobile one for around $22 from wally world when that same 5 qt jug runs about $38 at Carquest.

any thoughts???

I would not put it past them to be selling some really low-grade recycled oil in a bottle marked high-grade anything. Wal-Mart is low, very low.

Actually...WalMart is out to get you...better hide in your basement because they know what you look like...

I would be interested to see proof about the head units being different.

I don't have proof to show you, but I know what he is talking about. I bought a pioneer unit at circuit city and my cousin bought one a wal-mart. With the same part number they were differnt. This was back around 2000.

And this is also true for Lowes and Home Depot on many products!

Like most things in life, you get what you pay for!Not all things but most

This may or may not hold true with motor oil but it sure would be easy to put a lesser additive pack in batches made just for the 5 quart jugs.

I don't trust them.

This is not only Walmart. Polaroid made a [censored] TV with model number 3232 just for Circuit City, and the same [censored] TV with model number 323W for Walmart. They are much cheaper and are sold for a price that is not profitable for other brands of Japanese or Korean. The different numbering system is done to avoid price matching between the 2 models from the 2 stores.

The same goes for mattress, you cannot price match and everyone has a low price guarantee, because everyone has a different model number.

As to the bolded part, the same goes for laptop computers prime example and proof is an HP dv-4718W if i remember its been awhile it is a walmart only laptop i saw one come through a local secondhand store and the model number was including the W and i looked it up and sure enough someone sold them the WalMart special and thats why it was in the store for a comparatively low low price, marked back up for secondhand store.

The way Walmart gets some of those low low prices is by selling a specific model of low low quality. Maybe not all the time but it has been known to happen and maybe it still does

as an aside as to WM and for me personally, Maybe its not oil or anymore but walmart is full of shenanigans and sometimes it makes sense to just go to another store but sometimes it makes sense to go to walmart you have to be objective and see what you are buying and yes i used to buy everything at walmart exclusively for a couple months time until i figured out i could save money by going to other stores for different things and not having to buy them twice and then deal with walmart, etc.

Also notice they no longer advertise rollbacks with that smiley face mm-hmm walmart gotcha.

That just means the box was made in the USA, not necessarily the contents!

Everything about the box itself is located inside the crush rating circle. Everything outside of it pertains to the contents.

Your statement is very misleading.
