Walking Dead -Viewing Options for 2012 (S3)

My wife did the free one month Netflix thing a couple weeks back. So I click on the icon thinking it's a prequel movie or something because I've never watched the series. I mean who watches a show about zombies and stuff? Right?

Uh...well it's pretty entertaining seeing how I ended up watching 19 episodes, maybe 1-2 per evening at 39-43 minutes each and suddenly I'm hanging. So to speak.

So season three S3, doesn't seem to be available for viewing free. How do I catch up? I see I can pay $2.99 on iTunes (don't have an apple and don't want to pay) Ideas?

Since its currently in mid season break, it wont be on dvd or redbox anytime soon. Find a friend who has it on dvr.

My wife and I were looking for a show to get in to since there's nothing on TV currently that has captured our interest. We watched the first episode of Walking Dead. I thought it was alright. She thought it was a bit scary/gory for her test. We ended up watching Jericho instead, which we liked. But now we're back to finding something and thinking about giving it another try.

I've been watching from the beginning. A rare combination of great acting, good music and special effects, blood and guts. Every week you never know who's going to survive and whats going to happen.

My wife also found it on Netflix. She caught a marathon of Season 3 on NYE. Maybe they are peppering them around the normal schedule.

Yeah, I don't care for/about the gore. The quishing sounds get a little old. I mostly enjoy the human interaction at the edges. I mean it's TV, it's corny, but at least the guns appear to be real models. It was originally a comic book. The story writers have some guts (OK sorry) for finishing off opposing characters and still keeping that edge. My wife doesn't like certain parts, but understands the need to have a constant threat.
