Wal-Mart ATF any good?

I ran one Jaguar with a ZF 4HP22 to 227K miles, and another Jag with a ZF 4HP24 to 178K miles on their Dex III and both trannies were like new when the cars went to new owners.

I do drain the tranny pan with every oil change, however. Pretty sure there is WM Dex III in the 4L80E in my Xj12, but its only got about 72K on it. I think Wally's synthetic ATF is in the 4L60E in the Blazer, and there might be some in the GTO.

I will have to concur with SuperTech ATF+4 being the shiznit. My 1996 Intrepid is used for towing, and I think the shifts are firmer and faster with this stuff. 181,000miles on its tranny
My gas mileage has gone up after I flushed out the penzoil atf, but I can't really say that it was due to the fluid change last week. I generally try to change the filter and fluid every 30k on this vehicle but its been so warm here that I just flushed the fluid out. It's good stuff.

im going to do another drain and refull on my stratus v6. im glad you guys are using the supertech because thats what im plannong on getting. along with a weld-in drain plug on the pan.

what cost more, the plastic bottle and cap with the advertising paper and glue to attach it to the bottle or the fluid inside?

I forget what Walmart charges for the ATF +4, $3.~~, but my Advanced Auto had Valvoline ATF +4 for $2.9~ regular price. Seemed like the better bargain.

Wow, that's a great price for the valvo, never seen it that reasonable at the AAPs around here... The local stealership charges $7.50 per quart for the mopar stuff.
