Wagon superiority thread

This was a few weeks before the accident that took out the right fender and front bumper back in 2013.
Still running good. It's a work horse. 235k miles and counting.

^^^love the non-Outback Legacy wagons, great looking!

Of course, the reasons wagons are awesome...carrying stuff...important stuff!

Old pic of my dearly departed main man, going to his first bike race as a pup (don't worry, he was just tied up while I changed outta my cycling kit). My V70R wagon, of which I seem to have very few photos... The V70R had an integrated roll-up pet barrier that retracted into the rear seats. Why oh why don't more wagons come with this set-up??

2015 TDI Golf Sportwagen. Daughter uses it. Pushing a whopping 20k miles now. I bought it for myself but she stole it. Has a roof rack which like manual transmissions is slowly going away.

The 2002 V70. Over 200,000 miles on it. Steel wheels and snow tires on it for winter.

I don't have any pictures of my actual cars but I've had these wagons. First the Sable that my first wife drove, then the LTD, and finally the Camry. They all went over 200k miles. The LTD was a horrible driving car. It went straight well but didn't like to turn. Mine was just like the one in the picture. Off white with the wood sides. Cost me $400. Times were tough. Bought it off a guy out of the classifieds in the newspaper. He said he drove it to California twice but NO WAY it could make that trip again. I put 10,000 miles on it and saved up enough to buy the Camry wagon. Hmmm. Wagons remind me of the bad times in my first marriage. Think I'm done with wagons.
